I ordered this one as a hair cream when my hair dresser told me that my long, colored hair was somewhat dry. She recommended a hair cream I dont remember, but I never buy hair products in the salon because its cheaper online. This one from Redken seemed good, and I am previously happy with the Redken All Soft Shampoo. I didnt like the All Soft Conditioner and hair mask. I take this hair cream in my towel dried hair after washing and conditioning. You dont need a lot of product, the size of a finger nail is enough.I distribute it in the hair lenghts and the ends. It dissappears into the hair when it dries and makes the hair soft and less dry.It smells good when you put it on but the scent soon fades away. Maybe an expensive product, but i does its job. Recommended for dry hair and long hair. I think it will last a long time too.

I really wanted this leave-in to work for me and I love this line, but it left my hair so oily looking and it was way too heavy for my 3a curls which looked awful. I tried it several times, as in just on the bottom of my hair or by using an even smaller amount, but it kept missing the mark. This product has great reviews elsewhere so perhaps it’s my hair type, but my hair is thick, curly, somewhat coarse, dry, and porous so one would think my hair could handle a leave-in like this. I do think it would be great on coarser hair with a tighter curl pattern but I’m not sure how this would work on someone with straight hair due to how oily it is as straight hair naturally has oil in it. Luckily, I was able to return it.
