   ** I didn’t purchase this myself but got it as a Christmas gift.

   I am the biggest fan of lemon scented products… namely, sugary lemon. I love iced lemon cookie wax melts, lemon sugar body scrub… you name it. I thought that this would be sort of along those lines (although I’ve never had lemon custard… I just know it’s a lemony dessert.) When I cracked this open and took a whiff, it was nice but not exactly what I was expecting. I’ve had lemon bars and this smells just like that to me… more of a tart lemon scent. It’s still nice… not too sour or anything, but if it was a little sweeter that’d be more my preference. My scent preference doesn’t really dictate how well this product preforms though, so I digress.

   The packaging is great. I love how it’s simplistic, functional, and the fact that it has a recipe for lemon custard on the front is awesome (to me.) I would prefer a pump with a shampoo/body wash/bubble bath (this is a 3-in-1 product) but that’s okay.

   I’ve only ever used this as a body wash. As such, this is excellent. A little goes a long way. It lathers and foams nicely and I feel like it is pretty moisturizing as well. I feel very clean after using it. For someone who likes trying out new shower products, this could be fun. For a serious minimalist, this could be functional as a good multi-purpose item.

   I won’t repurchase because the price is higher than I’d like to pay for body wash ($18 for 16 oz of product, and as I mentioned this was a gift.) Also Philosophy is owned by Coty, and as they are owned by a non-cruelty-free parent company I’m not inclined to purchase any of their products for myself.

   I love Lemon Custard! I purchased the 3-in-! and and lip gloss, and the smell is wonderful. So tart and tangy and delicious! I want to try other flavors, so I probably won’t purchase this again, but I reccomend it!

   I have so many different philosophy scents and love them…..but this one was not great. The lemon scent reminds me of dishwashing liquid. Its not bad I guess. Its heavily lemon scented and i don’t want to wash my body with it. Maybe my hands, but thats about it. Too lemoney.

   Purchased this on-line from Target . This product should be used with a mesh poof in the shower to get the most scent and bubbles. I found it left my skin feeling soft and clean. To me the scent reminds me of lemon cake batter- a very smooth, lemon/vanilla scent, soft and creamy- heavenly! It definitely smells better lathered up than just smelling it in the bottle. Frozen Lemond Custard is not a tart, mouth-watering, sharp citrus smell like you get from the Old Fashioned Lemonade shower gel. I would definitely purchase this again and I would recommend this to others.

   I really liked this one! I normally don’t like lemon scented things, but for some reason I was drawn to this one. It’s actually the first one I bought. The smell is very faint, but I think that’s great because it’s not overpowering. I also wouldn’t recommend it as a shampoo though because it really dried out my hair… and if I used conditioner after I used it as a shampoo, the smell would be gone from my hair anyway… So this is only good as a shower gel. Also, the flip tops seem to always break off on me when I pack them in suitcases…

   Smells gross. It had a rancid spoiled lemon scent! I understand that scent is a matter of preference and that not everyone has the same taste in fragrance but something was definitly wrong with this one. Philosophy shower gels are generally very light in scent to the point where they totally vanish before you step out of the shower so even if a scent is “not me” I usually use it up anyway and it dosen’t bother me because it’s almost non-existant. This one however I could not tolerate. I will even contact philosophy because this is so bad. Stay away!

   I love Philosophy’s 3 in 1 products, but this one just didn’t hit the spot for me. One of my favorite things about the 3 in 1s is that they’re a great little pick me up in the shower due to their great smell. However, the Lemon Custard one just isn’t strong enough to give me that little pick me up. Overall I wasn’t that impressed.

   This is a good shower gel as are all the Philosophy ones but I found the fragrance was too weak for me. I only got a very faint hint of sugary lemon and it was a bit too artificial. Philosophy have so many great 3 in 1’s with better fragrances I really don’t think I will bother with this one again!

   I absolutely love the scent of Philosophy’s lemon custard products (Body Souffle, Hand Made), but the scent in this 3 in 1 is so faint that I cannot smell it in either the shower or the bath. For me it was a waste of money.

    This was the first philosophy product i purchased. It has a nice light lemon scent to it that is quite refreshing. I thought it would have a stronger scent but it’s ok. I still love the thick and rich lather it creates and use it as shampoo, body wash and bubble bath. this huge bottle lasts forever! very moisturizing formula too
