On Amazon, the description of this fragrance oil is the same as POTL Luctor et Emergo:
Embargo is a very complex and enlightening fragrance, often considered a comfort scent. Consists of a blend of sweet and resinous incense, soft vanilla, woods and a whiff of transparent cherry in the beginning, we also smell almonds in the mix, creating a delicious mixture of cherry marzipan offset by very dry wood and otherworldly incense.
Close but no cigar…in the beginning I get whiff of transparent cherry/almond with a teeny tiny bit of grass but that quickly dissipates into a sweet powdery skin scent with an occasional hint of cherry. This is definitely NOT a dupe.
The search for an acceptable dupe of POTL Luctor et Emergo continues, however this purchase definitely was NOT money wasted. I will layer this oil with my sweet, weak scents to improve longevity.
I also would not be adverse to trying other fragrance oils from this Amazon seller in the future.
