This one opens very musky on me, but soon turns into a fresh almond blossom and sandalwood concoction on my skin. The amber and tonka add a rich sweetness, but overall this one is very light–not heavy at all. Don’t let that amber/tonka combo in the note matrix scare you away. This one is perfect for a spring or summer day. That almond blossom in it is divine!
I won’t lie, we bought this because my name is Trish. But still. I DO love it. 🙂

This smells like a smoother better version of Crystal Noir which for some reason smells too harsh to me.

Absolutely lovely! I hate buying perfumes unsniffed because it usually ends up badly (he-LLO Jean-Paul Gaultier Classique Summer – looking at you!!!). But lately I am on a fragrance kick and I wanted something for summer that is still ‘me’. I love sexy, oriental scents (212 Sexy, Prada, CocoM, etc). My usuals are way too much for spring/summer so I chose this. I adore it!! It’s sexy, sultry, a bit fresh and slightly masculine. This would definitely be a perfect scent for spring and summer, and would probably make a great fragrance for fall as well. I doubt I would wear it in winter as it is a bit too light for that IMO. However I love this, would definitely buy it again. The downfall is the price – $52 for an ounce. It’s a purse spray! Worth the splurge though.

I was looking for a spicier, darker, less floral fragrance. After a bad experience with Ralph Lauren’s Notorious, I fell for Trish.
I like the scent after it dries down. To me, the initial notes are a bit too masculine – I get a pipe tobacco scent at first – but once that note evaporates, I get a nice warm scent that I find hard to describe. Imagine a wood-paneled expensive hotel lobby bar on a rainy day. It gives me that mood without too much sharpness.
My only complaint is that by the afternoon, I can no longer smell it.

Notes: Almond Flower, Blue Lotus, Tonka Bean, White Amber, Cashmere Musk, Indian Sandlewood
There’re a myriad of these smooth, luscious skin scents out there now…YES! I didn’t think I would like this upon sampling for the first time this morning…first impression is a little off…maybe the Lotus…didn’t work with the rest of the formula, but the top goes away very quickly which seems to be par for these fragrances. What’s left is a honey-smooth (although no honey in this mixture) drydown with a soft amber(thank god for soft ambers), musc, and the cleanest, sexiest sandlewood. Pure golden light for the skin and brain which puts you in a soft mood for the day and evening. Sillage is light to non-existant…perfect for me!
Would I buy this…probably not…way too expensive for me, although if I happened upon some, I wouldn’t turn my nose up at it. I get a similar mood from my Jo Malone Nectarine and Honey, and a Muskier, and even more exquisite return from Narciso Rodriquez “For Her” Musc oil, whose fruity notes linger throughout.
I’ve been seriously investigating Muscs this fall season…for the first time in 30(?) years. Why did I wait so long? They are so earthy, sensual, and “me” in a whisper of a scent.

Saw this recommended in Lucky Magazine (Jan 2007). Tried it and I love it. I cannot describe the fragrance, but it is just nice on me. smells fresh and not overpowering to me. I tried the lotion as well, but did not like that nearly as well as the EDP. Very expensive at $75.00 for 1.7 ounces. there is a $48.00 version (1.0 ounces).

I like this fragrance a lot. It smells good on me. The weird thing is my friend who is a male and a MA for Trish wears it also and now he has my husband wearing it. It smells different on him. This fragrance is unisex. I now have found out that a bunch of guys I know wear it. But I still love it and it smells great on me.

I really, really enjoy this fragrance, yet I don’t know why. It reminds me of… something …perhaps Mure et Musc Extreme a bit…or Passage d’Enfer…or another L’Artisan product. I do know that when I spray it on I smell GOOD.
So there.

This smelled like “diet Angel” to me. the bottle even looks similar to Angel–using teh same hue for the glass and it has some similar notes. Less potent than angel, a bit less sweet, but in the same family. I do not like angel, and I do not like Trish either.
