The Comforter is one of my Favorite LUSH perfumes! Its a cross between black currant, blackberry, & bubble gum. I give this product a 10 out of 10 as I love how I smell and feel when I wear this. It’s youthful and fresh while being sweet and sexy all at the same time. It’s a scent that appeals to foodies and those that love sweet fragrances. I love it and pair it with the lotion and bubble bar with the same name. They also have an exfoliating product called You Snap The Whip which has a similar fragrance. This perfume is different and uniquely LUSH. PS: Men love this fragrance.

Love this. Smells like blackcurrent sweets which instantly makes me feel nostalgic (:
My only issues with this is it doesn’t last very long so you need to keep re-applying. Also, I don’t particularly love the packaging. Would be better as a push out stick or something as it can be a hassle to put on if you have slightly long nails.

I can’t currently find this on the LUSH site (US), so I hope it’s not discontinued. I love The Comforter bubble bar and You Snap the Whip body butter, so I had to get this solid perfume. I don’t smell anything but black currant in this, and that’s fine by me. I guess I have a good body chemistry to go with this, because it lasts fairly well on my skin too.

This is a fun, single-note that smells exactly like blackcurrent candies or juice drink. I gave it a low rating because it barely lasts half an hour on the skin. It would be fun to have but not worth the money.

Love this! I don’t know about the “cat pee” smell people keep saying, but I don’t smell this at all, must be how it mixes with your body chemistry.
I use The Comforter Shower Gel and then this and its divine!
The smell is a berry – blackcurrant – but its not a sweet berry. I work in an office so spray perfume to freshen up is out. These come in convenient little tins and are so easy to apply and the smell is strong enough to get noticed, but not so strong that people across the room notice it.
Wll definitely repurchase!

SwedishGirl’s review is spot-on: this is a berry frag, namely blackcurrant or cassis in the most interesting interpretation which I’ve ever smelled. LUSH often plays with mixing warm and cool scents, in that case juicy sour fruits and a light breeze of menthol with a sweet butter cream frosting note. It calms you down and cheers you up at the same time so I use it as aromatherapy when I’m stressed. It does a great job yet I don’t go outside wearing this, cos I would feel uncomfortable smelling like a huge walking Airvawes Cassis bubblegum on the streets (it’s very potent, so one dab on each wrists can be detected from miles).

Yes Yes Yes! This is the best solid from LUSH since HIWK. The PERFECT berry-scent (cassis). Not too sweet (like most berry scents tends to be), but perfect ripe berries in a bowl just picked in a summer-garden. And yes, it’s true what LUSH says on this, it’s a pick-me-up perfume that makes you happy and comforted indeed! I am really impressed! THANKS LUSH! 🙂
