My first Demeter fragrance was Cotton Candy. It was too sweet for my taste, and not very long-lasting. In the past, I’ve heard mixed reviews about Demeter fragrances. How they’re hit-or-misses. How you need to try it out before buying it. How it smells on a sampler might not be the same as spritzing it on your skin/clothing. Blah blah blah.
I bought Mulled Cider online on a discount price (yes, without trying it beforehand). I wanted something with a cinnamon scent, and had planned to buy the Cinnamon Bark. Unfortunately, they don’t have it in a 30ml bottle. After reading the reviews on MUA, I decided to give Mulled Cider a go.
One of the things I love about Demeter fragrances is the simplicity of its packaging. It’s practical, easy to hold, and small enough to fit into my bag/purse. Although I have yet to try out the entire fragrance library, I have to say Mulled Cider definitely hits the mark. I love the apple cinnamon spice scent, and it made me felt as if I’m sitting in front of a fireplace, sipping a cup of cider on a cold winter night.
The only downside I’d point out is, like most Demeter fragrances, it’s not very long-lasting. It lasted maybe around 2-3 hours before I need to reapply, but it may turn out different on other people. However, in terms of scent, I am very satisfied. I’d highly recommend this as a fall/winter fragrance.

This smells just like the batches of cider my mom makes every fall: spicy, sweet and crisp. It doesn’t have the icky, headache-inducing sweetness you find in tons of holiday candles and lotions, which is one thing I can give thanks for this Thanksgiving.

I bought this scent for my mom as a gift, along with 2 other “minis.” This one turned out to be not only her favorite, but also the favorite of all of her friends. She has taken to carrying the mini around in her purse to put it on as needed (and to show all her friends!). I also tried it on myself and put it on my “to buy” list for the next time I order from Demeter. Smells like yummy apple cider. I would wear this for daytime and for any fall activity, including Thanksgiving. Wish I could buy one for myself right now!

This really does smell like mulled cider. It smells like apples, a hint of orange zest, cinnamon, clove, and allspice. And it lasts more than a few minutes. Of the four fragrances I’ve tried, this one lasts the best.

I recently made my first Demeter purchase, and got this along with about 5 other scents. This is definately my favorite. Since it’s almost summer time, this will probably wait a few months before I actually wear it a lot since it’s more a fall scent. But it literally does smell like hot cider! It smells delicious. When i first smelled it in the bottle it smelled more like potpourri, but when I put it on it wasn’t too bad.

This is a great fall/winter scent. It smells just like its name. Like hot spiced apple cider. You can smell the notes of spices, apple, and autumn so well you can almost taste them! This lasts all day on me, and I get a lot of compliments. The only complaint I have is that when people ask what I’m wearing and I reply “Mulled Cider” They think I’m saying “Mold Cider” which is a turn-off. 🙂 But I would definitely repurchase as this is one of my faves!

It smells great! Very sweet and cinnamony, the apple smells good with the spiciness. The scent lasts longer if you spray it on your clothes.

Love this fragrance. It’s spicy and fruity and reminds me of autumn. Definitely one of my favorite Demeter fragrances and very comforting.
