so glad Chanel released this in 50ml for traveling! ive already reviewd this line as a whole but i felt i needed to rave about Paris Venise on its own as a category.
Its a warm oriental but very wearable. Its soft and creamy, powdery, fresh and fruity at the same time. I think of a orange cake. It is sweet but it isnt syrupy or goopey. This has got that waxy cosmetic scent to it and i love it. I cant help but sniff myself all the time. The lasting power is great compared to the other ones in this line. Its just got enough freshness with the powder to balance everything and work in harmony to perfection. It def has the Chanel DNA running through this. This does run more on the feminine side than the rest of the Les Eaux.
I love Jersey from the Les Exclusifs line so if you love Jersey then you will like this. Its got that soft blanket feel to this just like Jersey.

I recently discovered this little gem quite by accident. It’s a wonderful fresh oriental despite it’s name, with notes of Neroli, citrus, tonka bean, vanilla amongst others, however I find it quite difficult to describe.
On initial spray it reminds me very slightly of Chance Eau Tendre, but then it becomes almost sparkly once the top notes dry down, and this the part of it I especially love. It’s like a harmony of musical notes which combine to make a beautiful melodius chord. Once it dries down (after a couple of hours – be warned!) it’s difficult to detect by simply sniffing the skin where it was applied. However, it’s presence somehow lingers on despite this; it blends so perfectly with the skin, it promotes a romantic aura – it simply needs to grace the skin to make itself known. It’s actually quite fascinating. Although I can’t actually smell it I’m very aware of it.
In saying this, it IS a sheer and quite elegant day-time scent. It’s sillage is very soft and it’s not one which will taint every area you walk through. I prefer sheer scents so this one works really well for me.
I actually love this. Someone bought me the showergel at Christmas by accident (long story) and this was how I came to know about this scent. The shower gel is just so wonderfully divine – when I first used it I was blown away. If you then spray yourself with the EDT after showering it really does enhance the fragrance sillage and longevity.
It’s just a pity this particular scent is so difficult to get in-store. I had to order mine online in the end.
