At first I bought the rollerballs of both Nirvana Black and White. I loved Nirvana White, I finished it really quickly (though I did not like the rolleball container at all, I could clearly see all my dead skin inside it). I was going to buy the large bottle of the perfume, but I saw the oil and remembered that the Olsens, creators of the scent, said they preferred to use oils as perfume. So I gave it a try. It really does last for several hours, I definitely can still smell it after 7 hours. And I think the smell of the oil is a bit more round, less strong, than the normal perfume. And its cheaper! I will buy the perfume oil again, for sure.

I loved this perfume, but I adore the Parfum oil. It seems somehow to smell a little more natural, organic. Nirvana white itself is very reminiscent of Stella, on me this one has a slightly sweeter dry down. More peony while the Stella is more rose. I wear this alone but I’ll also layer it with Black, which somehow becomes much more intoxicating than each alone. I only wish the scent would last a little longer, it seems to be gone after a couple of hours but maybe it’s because I only use two drops which I rub between my wrists the on my neck. I do enjoy the way it wears close to me during those two hours, though. And since these are fairly inexpensive I don’t mind reapplying.
