i have wanted to buy this for years and i hemmed and hawed and finally did it.
many of my fragrance reviews are complains about staying power but this one gets a pass because it’s an eau de toilette. regarding the scent itself, it COULD be unisex but i think i prefer it as a women’s scent. it is a green herbal/garden fragrance that is a bit hard for this city girl to describe, but i can confidently say that i do not discern anything floral here. some online reviews i have read cite basil and tomato leaf.
think of this one as an elevated summer splash that will set you apart from the usual celebrity bathwater

Eau de Campagne is a wonderful green galbanum first on, though not being a galbanum fan, this is way too much so for me. But it dries fast to a delicious herbal cool, with a moment or two of nearly 4711 European-ness in there, continuing on to a fresh herbal cologne. It will be too masculine for some women, but I would call this unisex. I like this very very much. A great refreshing cologne for hot months.

I had been wanting to try EdC for years. Had a little money at the end of the year, so I figured, go ahead. I’m glad I did. It is a unisex fragrance, but to my nose, it is a bit more masculine until the drydown. It is a real green fragrance, and it is my favorite after several other greens in my wardrobe. Aliage, Folavril, Eau de Camille, etc. I had read that Sir Elton John loved this fragrance so that he purchased it by the gallons! The elegant crest is related to the house of Radziwell (Jackie Bouvier’s sister’s family). The packaging is elegant. The price is reasonable for the value. I would repurchase.

Timeless and gender-neutral, Eau de Campagne is what I would describe as an essentially blueblooded lush green. The fresh vivacity of tomato leaves is impeccably offset by the herbaceous bitterness of galbanum, resulting in a bracing tonic that at once invigorates the body, mind and soul. One whiff of this refined and exquisitely-constructed Jean-Claude Ellena creation, and you get the distinct impression that this is bottled nobility. A magnificently spirited fragrance, it conjures the scenario of Royal Equestrians partaking in easy summertime canters in the rolling pastures of Tuscany, clad in their chichi jodhpurs…and of course, trailing EDC.

A ‘nice’ fresh green unisex scent which smells expensive . I like it but not enough to buy it. Good packaging though.

Lovely! I find this more feminine than masculine though it’s a unisex. One of the most pleasant scents I know, and one I would not like to be without. Sometimes if I have had to bear and suffer too synthetic and sweet scents on me or on other people I put this on as it cures my nose after that. This is medicine for the spirit. Smells like green meadows, yellow hay, sunny days and all things natural. Smells amazing on a man, can’t imagine anything better on a male skin in the heat of the summer.

What a suprise this one was. At first sniff – I was a bit taken aback. BOY is this GREEN!!! I’m not one to avoid masculine scents – if I like them. I put this as gender neutral. Not overly masculine OR feminine. Green has no sex. It is GREEN (which I like)…
The drydown however, is where this scent really shines. It gets a glow, a warm sunny quality that adds charachter and depth.
If you like green, like unique, and enjoy something different from anything else in your collection – this is a good one to try.

This is like those oldfashioned masculine eau de colognes. But it could be charming… Very green, very herbal, rather strong. Reminds me of eau de colognes that my grandfather used to wear long ago. For me there is something nostalgic in it but I would not wear it.

I like the scent! It’s really unique and fresh. Very green. Reminds me of eau de cologne mixed with some sort of leaves / grass. Definitely for younger customers, compared to the Sisley Eau Du Soir!

I really like this scent. Slightly herbal, green, and very elegant (a bit reminiscent of the scent of sisley creams). It does smell a little bit like men’s cologne, but once it is dried down, it becomes softer. I also like the fact that not many people wear this one. I finished my sample, and would like to purchase a full bottle.
