They issued this in the English Fields collection, which overall I quite enjoyed. This was my favorite of the bunch. It is a soft, snuggly floral that is suitable for any occasion. The poppy in the name doesn’t suit it at all – poppies don’t really have a scent, for one thing, and for another, they are bright and loud and vibrant. This is not any of those things. I smell violet and rose and a powdery musk in this, along with a hint of green. It is close-wearing and not long-lasting – I get about 2 hours before I feel I need to spray again. That doesn’t bother me, but I wanted to mention it because I know it is a pet peeve for some people.
