A little surprise from Victoria’s Secret. Bombshell Seduction is a little, innocent, sensual perfume on my skin, that is like some floral fragrant with more strength than usual. This is supposed to be a sage and tubereuse scent on a musky base but perhaps it does not bloom fully on my skin, I get a more floral and perhaps slightly balmier experience than I imagined. If I focus on it, like a lot, I can say hmmm maybe this is the sage etc but I won’t bother with it as I like it the way it is. Bombshell seduction opens as a light clean and soft floral. I don’t get any fruit. It is on the fresh side, but without anything screaming. I’m not particularly impressed by this opening but I quite like the heart – the non-performing tubereuse on me.
It smells like some lightly floral wax on me. There is a balmy flower – wax flower, hoya?- in my garden that releases drops elixir-like juices but the meaty flower itself has a matte, slightly thick smell reminding me of the doughiness of healiotrope sometimes, without the sourness. I actually love that smell. Bombshell Seduction has that smell on me during its heart as if I applied a thick body lotion. I find this amicable and relaxing after a bath. I suppose the way note also smells like crayons without the negative chemically notes this may connote. It is like a neutral, clean crayon with a slightly floral aroma.
There is something that makes me content in Bombshell Seduction. It is an inoffensive scent that I enjoy on myself when I’m relaxing at home. Just like VS Pyjamas with the same colour combination. Cute, girlie, not exactly my definition of seductive and more like a cozy evening cuddling my cat.
I find this pleasant and would buy a full bottle once for the floral spa experience at home. Unfortunately VS fragrances are quite expensive – at least to my understanding- in my country, which gives this little one a lot of rivals from Jo Malone.
It wears close to skin and loses its heart in a couple of hours. After that it is a clean musky and soapy impression on me. Still, a very subjective 3.5 for I find it pleasant.
