Fresh fruit and flowers softened by velvety vanilla/okamos/musk base. Feels somehow like perfumed milk, but better than that sounds. Lovely for a while, but ends as basically a clean musk not unlike Avon Soft Musk, which costs way less. So I like it a lot, but won’t be buying it.

If I was a new mother, Artemisia would be my go-to fragrance; it is that soft and lovely in its drydown on me. When I dab just a tiny amount on my wrists, it’s a very soft spoken, milky skinscent with just a little bit of sweetness from the fruit and a lightness from clean flowers. Unfortunately, it becomes almost impossible to notice in a matter of minutes. I quite like Artemisia’s nectarine when I can smell it, but it’s not very easily noticeable on my skin. When I spritz it, it has a slightly aggressive opening with the frilly attitude of a little floral that boasts a good amount of lily of the valley. At this stage, which doesn’t last for more than 10 minutes, I could almost swear that this was a Jo Malone scent. However, Artemisia finds its milky, creamy, fluffy and comforting drydown on me very very quickly. It has very low-sillage and the lasting power is weak. Actually, I like Artemisia a lot but basically, any milky and slightly fruity body lotion could give this smell to me and I expect a bit more sillage from my fragrances. It’s not an unforgettable fragrance but a very comforting one, with low-key elegance and sophistication.

This one smells exactly like Cashmere Mist by DK on me. I love CM, so I love this one as well, but for the huge price difference, I’ll buy CM instead.
