I love it. Had a lot of compliments ????

Nice scent, but much more generic than the original. Mostly a vanilla perfume, with a tiny bit of Angel added. Not sorry I bought it, and I could probably wear a small amount of this to work, but I would not repurchase. Realistically, I would never run out, as one spray suffices. I took a lippie off for non-originality.

As a gourmand oriental lover, I’ve been on the hunt for a lighter fragrance I can still wear in the spring/summertime that is still interesting enough for me. Being a lover of Angel and the more recent Angel Muse, I thought that this would be a good pic for a summer frag (and it is). Overall, it is very easy to like and you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who thinks it’s revolting. Preface: I have the 2015 version (medium blue glass), which apparently smells just a bit different from the original opaque light blue bottle.
In the initial spray, you get ozonic, airy blast of red berries and lemon sorbet with a halo of camphor, which has the same interesting menthol-like burn to the nose like Angel. At this stage, it smells a bit fizzy, sparkling and very fresh. In the top you can detect some hints of Angel’s patchouli, but don’t worry. The patchouli in this is a very clean one, no hippie/dirty vibes at all. The red berries are ever-present from top to bottom. In the heart of the perfume, the patchouli becomes more apparent but the warmer notes of vanilla and meringue start to emerge. Eventually, what’s left in the base is a very, very creamy, rich, warm and full-bodied vanilla with musk… the same heavenly vanilla you get from L de Lolita Lempicka, which is now hard to find. It is simply delicious. There is also a hint of red berries in the base notes, which is pretty impressive, alongside a dollop of delicious meringue.
Even though this fragrance isn’t terribly unique, it is still interesting and not linear at all. It’s very fresh, almost bordering aquatic in the beginning, but it settles into a cozy vanilla. If you hated Angel in all its monstrosity but liked the notes in theory (read: gourmand), you most definitely would like Angel Eau Sucree. I would say this is more like Angel’s more innocent younger cousin, instead of a sister. There’s a bit of Angel DNA in there, but it’s only a whisper. Yes, this is pretty sweet, but nowhere near the likes of Pink Sugar, LVEB, etc. You will never have to worry about people moving away from you in the elevator, unless you spray too much of course. Very pleasant scent overall and a good crowd pleaser, but it definitely has its own personality. A must-try if you like fruitchouli gourmands.

This is for the 2014 version!
Mmmm this one is a lovely dessert, but as with the original Angel there CAN be TOO MUCH of a good thing. Go easy on this one as it’s so sweet it can be cloying if too much is sprayed!
On me I get the sweet vanilla meringue as the main accord throughout, almost a hint of lemony but I think that’s the tartness of the red berry coming through. This is ALL sweet vanilla for the most part. The patch is very faint, almost nonexistent and just adds a fullness to the drydown. It is really only a faint cousin of the original Angel and non-Angel lovers could find this one works quite well on them!
I don’t know how it compares to the 2015 version as I’ve not sniffed them side by side, but this one is a sure winner if you like gourmand scents. 1-2 sprays lasts 6 hours easily with great sillage. Plus, the box and bottle are adorable.

This is for the 2015 edition as well:
I seriously cannot stop smelling myself when I wear this and am in my own happy perfume cloud.
I am an Angel and Angel Fragrance of Leather lover but this is like neither. It’s not loud and in your face like the other 2 (which I appreciate about them) but rather soft yet it still leaves its mark.
I smell no patchouli and wouldn’t even think it’s an Angel flanker but on my skin I get icy berries with a hint of creamy lemon in the opening, a mouth watering caramel in the heart and a delicious vanilla in the dry down.
Thierry Mugler, you got me hook, line and sinker. Please continue doing what you do because you do it oh so well.

After a brief opening of overripe fruit, then cherry Play-doh is all I get. It’s non-offensive and long lasting. It’s ending is a bit like the fruit and play-doh got thrown into the dumpster, in a mellow sort of way. I don’t find this at all traditionally sweet – Sucree is more like a European dessert compared to an American one.
I’m sure I’m missing something here. I will try it on another day, but this is nothing that I would wear. The bottle is another story – I love the frosted glass star!

This review is for the 2015 version ….. I absolutely love this frangrance!!!!! I have a love/hate relationship with the original Angel in which I find that it smells great but just not on me (I have tried the different versions that have come along throughout the years and none have ever worked on me, with the exception of the hair mist.) The other day I passed by the 2015 version of Angel eau Sucree and of course could not resist to sample it and you could imagine my surprise that this actually not only not smelled like Angel but it worked with my chemistry …. I pick up on the red berries and sugar and it is definitely a sweet but grown-up fragrance ….. I do not find this fragrance heavy, but it is long lasting on me ….. oddly I have heard people compare this to Flowerbomb but in my experience it is nothing like Flowerbomb while on but yet when I shower off Angel eau Sucree then I can smell a light Flowerbomb, LOL. If Angel does not work for you and you like sweet fragrances, then Angel eau Sucree may be for you (my other loves include Note Vanille, L de Lolita, and Flowerbomb, especially the Extreme version.)

I fell in love with this perfume!! It’s so fruity, and I don’t think it’s smells like Angel EDP, this is so yummy! I love it.. It is very similar to flowerbomb which I also love.

This perfume is absolutely AMAZING. I have never in my life purchased a new fragrance so quickly after trying it. I have been wearing Angel for about 15 years now so I always try the limited editions. I fell in love with this one immediately. It is quite similar to Flowerbomb, which to me is a negative because EVERYONE wears that fragrance. However, it is a lot more complex and sophisticated than Flowerbomb. I don’t usually like sugary-sweet perfumes, but this has a sensual element and is a delicious mixture of flowers, cotton candy, caramel, berries (particularly in the top and heart notes), and patchouli. Angel Eau Sucrée is like a softer, more playful and flirtatious version of Angel. It has outstanding longevity too. One spray lasts 24 hours+ on my skin drying down to delicious cotton candy base notes. I love the sugar-coated bottle too. However, I wish the glass was more transparent as I have to hold it up to strong light to see how much fragrance is left. Anyway, it’s been a long time since I fell so madly in love with a fragrance. I’m very tempted to pick up a second bottle of this.

I found this green in the top notes. Then it smelt like a lighter version of Angel or Angel Innocent in the middle notes. Then it dried down to a soft vanilla/patchouli scent. This was on my skin. However, I also sprayed this on a card and put it in a zip part of my handbag. A few days later I opened the zip (forgetting the card was there) and was wondering why I could smell Coco Mademoiselle? I looked and saw the card with Eau Sucree on it and sure enough, that was the pseudo CM smell I was smelling. Overall, I liked this scent. It had medium sillage and good longevity.
