I love this foundation, however, I don’t think it suits everyone. mom and I wore this foundation for a wedding party for the first time. while i absolutely loved it my mom hated it. (even though for her age, she has perfect skin condition, it clang to her pores and fine lines and didn’t look smooth on her skin.) FOR ME. -it looked absolutely flawless. -I don’t have pores, wrinkles or acne, but I do have acne scares and dry skin that tends to get flaky sometimes. -One layer completely concealed my acne scares. -The formula felt smooth and velvety. NOT CAKEY. -it lasted from 1pm to 3 am with only touching up the t-zone twice with powder, it didn’t fade at all but I do get oily around the nose so I needed to powder that area. ONLY PROBLEM? It broke me out, i do have extremely sensitive skin and I break out easily, but I noticed from the third time using this foundation that I broke out .. in normal days I only use it on cheeks and chin (where I have acne scares). and I broke out on those areas.

I bought this foundation during the VIB sale because it comes with a high mark-up of $66. I rarely purchase cosmetics sight unseen, but I really wanted to try this product and the Saks SA was adamant about not giving me a sample. So I ordered my bottle from Sephora’s website instead.
Taking a guess, I got Bisque 75, which has a pretty good yellow undertone but is definitely too light for my NC20-25 skin. In other bad news, I found that the foundation, though it did offer good medium coverage (not full imo), made my skin look terrible. The thing is, I thought the finish was actually very soft and flawless-looking, but at the same time, the product accentuated every dry patch and textural issue. It was just ugly. Even when I did my best to moisturize and exfoliate, I did not find that this formula did my skin any favors. In addition, my skin felt a little parched after application, though not dry or super tight. I’m guessing this is due to the dehydrated aspect of my dehydrated oily skin. As for oil control and lasting powder, this did okay. I did get a bit oily a few hours in, but the foundation lasted for several hours.
Overall, not impressed, and especially not for $66.

I broke down and paid for what I THOUGHT would be an HG….WRONG!!! This is horrible! It makes my pores look like craters, settles into any imperfection and transfers like a cheap drugstore foundation. As a matter of fact, I would rather stick to my Revlon Colorstay than ever use this again. What a HUGE waste of money. If you want to break down and spend gobs of your hard earned money on a foundation, steer clear of this one. I feel duped and disgusted and will never buy any of their products again. Oh and the reason I bought this crap is because it was a number one editor’s pick on totalbeauty.com … I wonder if these “editor’s” have ever even used it! ugh!
