This liner was recommended to me by several Facebook friends who seemed like they knew what they were talking about, so I decided to give it a shot. It applies mostly smoothly and has nice color. My one complaint with it is that it’s, well, micro tipped. I like doing thick, dramatic lines with wings sharp enough to kill a man. If that’s what you’re after, this liner probably isn’t going to give you that (although it DOES help create that sharp tip, I’ll give it that). However, I do use it for my lower lids, since they’re trickier to apply liner to and give my dramatic-ass eye makeup a little layer of subtlety. If subtlety is your thing, this might just be the liner for you.

I had the original version and always wish the felt tip was smaller and here it is! I bought this so quick and i am not dissapointed at all. The original lasts me sooo long a lot longer than kat von d and a darker black. Super easy to use and its not too glossy but it isnt matte. I still like how the kvd is a brushtip and more matte. Eh i guess a perfecr liner is hard to find.
Edit- for the price tag i sadly had go back to my Japanese 12 dollar Kiss Me Heroine Liquid Eyeliner which is way better

I bought this Stay All Day waterproof liquid eye liner in two colors – paradise pink and turquoise. The tip gives good definition, but the colors are so sheer I don’t think they are worth buying.

I like precise, thin lines, so I bought this new micro tip version of Stila’s Stay All Day pen as soon as it launched on Sephora’s website. This has quickly become my favorite pen liner. (Of course, if you want to draw a thick, dramatic line with a big wing, the original size will be faster.)
PROS:
1) The felt tip is much smaller than Stila’s regular Stay All Day pen, so I have more control. I can get closer to the lashline and do a little kitten flick. If you like subtle eyeliner, this is the one to buy. You can still build it up to a big wing if you desire that look; it just takes more strokes.
2) Same ink as the original Stila Stay All Day liner, so if you are used to that ink and you like it, the only difference is the tip. The ink flows easily.
3) The color is a rich, matte jet black.
4) A pen liner is quick to apply and portable. I like Inglot’s gel liners a lot, but they are a bit more fussy to work with, requiring an eyeliner brush and sometimes Q-Tips for clean-up. Gel liners are less practical to carry with you.
5) The cap clicks securely shut so you know the liner is not drying out or leaking.
6) Some of the other liquid liners I’ve tried are irritating. Urban Decay’s formula burned for some reason, but Stila’s formula is gentle enough for my eyes.
CONS:
1) “Waterproof” is part of the name but it’s not as waterproof as MAC Liquidlast or Milani Infinite Liquid which can survive a shower. However, this pen liner is a lot more reliable on my eyes than Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner, which streaks and smudges on me, and certainly won’t survive a cry. Stila’s Stay All Day ink is more water-resistant than Kat’s, which is good enough for an average day at the office. If you tear up a lot, you might need to touch up your line.
2) $22 is more expensive than liquid liners you can find at CVS, but I’ve had so many drugstore duds that I’m willing to pay for Stila.
3) At the moment it’s only available in black, whereas the Stay All Day liner with the larger tip comes in many shades. If you want blue or green or white, check out Stila’s original size.
I’ll definitely buy this eyeliner again.
