I like the applicator but the product simply isn’t good enough. It applies quite pale to begin with and fades horribly throughout the day. I wish it was more pigmented

This is a way below average product even by drugstore standards. The three things I care most about eyeliners are lasting power, intensity and ease of application.
The latter two criteria are why this got two lipsticks (as opposed to one). It’s got a nice, fine tip and because it’s a pen it makes applying eyeliner SO easy, and this is coming from a complete beginner! And unlike many other reviewers, I surprisingly faced no issue with regards to pigmentation. It came out relatively easily without having to scrape my eye, and wasn’t faded/grey and was a fairly intense black.
The lasting power however, is absolutely horrible. The first time I tried it I had it on for roughly two hours and it had already disappeared from the inner third of my eye. I hadn’t even been rubbing my eye or anything. My eyelids are pretty oily though. I have had drugstore pen eyeliners last four times as long as this, however.
I would not recommend this to anyone. Every time i put this on, it disappears after an hour or two, and after that it begins disappearing from the outer corner of my eye – then there’s practically nothing left! I wonder why I even bother putting any eyeliner on at that point.
Horrible product (if you couldn’t already tell from all the other reviews). Waste of time and money.

I was so disappointed by this liner. The pen itself is a nice shape, with a nice, small tip perfect for making a small wing on my small eyes. However, the colour of the ink was not an opaque jet black, but rather a sheer grey-black that took multiple layers to build up to a deep black colour. This is not convienient when you’re trying to do a quick cat-eye in the morning! You also have to press quite hard with the tip to get a decent amount of ink to come out, and when the skin around your eye is so delicate, pressing hard is the last thing you want to do. This eyeliner pen has definitely let me down, I would recommend the (cheaper!!) Essence or Nyx eyeliner pens over this one any day. Will neither finish nor repurchase, very disappointed.
