Not for me. Very liquidy and can get to your eye. Applicator is stiff so it’s hard to make a wing. Not worth it.

I thought I had found an HG when I first picked this up – an affordable dip eyeliner with an easy applicator and jet black pigmentation and matte finish. To my dismay, this starts smudging on me within 2-3 hours. I do have oily skin, but a good liquid eyeliner will last 6-8 hours on me before I start getting smeary. Too bad!

This is my HG eyeliner; because it’s:
1) Affordable
2) Very easy to apply
3) Stays until I decide to take it off (no primer needed)
4) Jet black and matte
It is everything I look for in an eyeliner; the only issue I have is with it’s availability where I live, so I tend stock up on those whenever I’m at a Kiko counter in Europe!

Love this eyeliner, my search ends here. This is a matte blackest black felt tip eyeliner. The felt tip feels easy on the hand and the line can be drawn very easily. This product stays on till you wash it at night. This product is pigmented like a gel eyeliner. I am going to get backups for the car now. OMG, you have to try this to know..

I have hooded eyes with oily lids. Within MINUTES of putting on this liner, it’s already smudged in dark gray circles above my eyes. Hard pass. I officially give up on pencil eyeliner.

I picked this up at Ulta. Lately, my waterline has been dark pinkish and it causes my eyes to look dull or bloodshot so I thought I would try a white liner to see if that would make a difference.
I bought this liner in White Out. It goes on smooth on my waterline and has decent staying power and has done its job in brightening my eye area. I like it and will continue to use it. I wear contacts and it does not irritate my eyes nor do I get the build up that some eyeliners will give you in the corners of your eye.
For me, this is a keeper.

This eyeliner broke my heart when it inexplicably “broke.” Seriously, I haven’t been this conflicted about a beauty product in forever.
I had been using pot gel liners to tight line, but the whole ritual of using a brush, repeatedly dipping it into an eyeliner pot, cleaning said brush, can be frustrating and tedious when you’re in a rush. Also, I’m a contact lens wearer and if I neglect to lift up my eyelids while waiting for the gel formulas to dry – black gel residue adhered to contacts isn’t a very comfortable result, and it tends to blur my vision. As much as I enjoy Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils and their ability to stand up to my moderately watery eyes, the $20 price tag wasn’t exactly attractive to me.
I read on a beauty blog (“Nouveau Cheap,” I believe?), that Palladio happened to manufacture excellent long-lasting pencils for the waterline. So I actually finally caved to a Sally Beauty membership, foolishly assuming I would of course fall in love with this product and continue to purchase it for the rest of my life. I selected it in Black Onyx and went about my merry way.
Turns out, I love the formulation of this eyeliner after all! It’s very creamy and glides on effortlessly and translates nicely as a tight line into an opaque beautiful black. Now it doesn’t last nearly as long as a traditional gel liner as a tight line product, but it definitely lasts longer than anything else I’ve tried and the $5 price tag is something I can be happy about. I also found it performed well as a smoky upper lash liner. It sets relatively quickly, but it’s easily smoked out with a pencil brush loaded with dark eyeshadow and yes, it easily lasts throughout the day and even through my aggressive eyelash curling ritual.
HOWEVER, after having this eyeliner for a couple of months, using and sharpening it intermittently (I strongly prefer automatic liners, but made an exception for this excellent eyeliner), I tried sharpening it and it seems the kohl only extended into the first fourths (or less) of the wooden barrel. I sharpened and sharpened, even popped the pencil in to the freezer for a minute or so to harden up whatever finicky kohl might remain in the pencil, but nothing! Pretty darn enraging . . .
I am going to assume that I received a dud and perhaps venture out to repurchase this eyeliner in the future, but I’m less than pleased about falling in love with a product, to only find out it was only partially usable. This is like the chip bags of cosmetics, mostly full of air/nothingness. Bah!

I purchased this liner in Ultra Violet. I found this liner to be waxier than my other pencil liners that are similar in style. It tugged quiet a bit and the color payoff was weak. I expected “Ultra Violet” to be a deeper purple. However, it appeared closer to an electric blue to my eyes. I returned this to Ulta due to poor formula and the color didn’t suit me.
There are better formulas and colors in other lines so I would not recommend this liner.

I was looking for a pencil eyeliner that would be creamy and easy to apply. I picked this up at Ulta, and so far I like it okay. I can apply a smooth line without having to tug at my eyes. It does smudge above my eyelids and leaves a light black mark. I always lightly dust the eyeliner with a little finishing powder, but it still smudges. If it didn’t smudge, it would be five stars.
