Although I loved the color, i had a bad reaction to this product! My eyes went bloodshot and I had pus draining for hours! I had to use strong steroid eye drops to clear my eyes up! My vision was also very blurry.

This shades really makes my brown eyes pop. It’s perfect for daytime makeup because it defines the eyes and adds some interest in a subtle way. The pencil glides on easily and wears very well on me (lasts all day). The only downside is packaging as the twist-up pencil is one way (it doesn’t retract). I would buy it again if they sort out the mechanism problem.

Color payoff and staying power is good, but did not go on as smoothly as I hoped. Grape is a nice purple, a little more on the red side than blue. Unfortunately, it put my eyes a little more on the red side too. The pencil didn’t rub off easily after it set for a minute or two, but it irritated and made my eyes water quite a bit which eventually made the pencil come off too. After a several hours, my eyes were red and inflamed. I am exchanging it today for the dark chocolate version, which hopefully will not irritate my eyes.

Pros:
– Nice violet color
– Decent packaging
Cons:
– Zero staying power on my moderately oily lids
– Smears off within an hour
– Does not show up very well, even when freshly applied
The Worst:
– VERY irritating to my lids!
Overall: Needless to say this was a complete fail, in the trash it went.

Love the color of this liner (which I the main reason I purchased it) but can’t stand that it melts off my skin really fast. In Florida’s humidity, I need a liner that will stay put for the whole day. Unfortunately this one is just too soft and smudges so easily. Love the packaging but won’t buy again. I will stick to Revlon Colorstay liners.

I really wanted this product and there is nothing too bad about it but it doesn’t last and is a but waxy. It doesn’t go on very easily.
There aren’t too many products like it but still

“Grape” is my shade. I loved this eyeliner from day one, and I have been buying CLinique’s Quickliner for Eyes every since then which is (roughly) for 6 years! I’ve had these liners in almost every shade. They do not need sharpening and they do have a smudge tip at the opposing end of the pencil. QUickliners are second only to Urban Decay’s 24/7 eyeliners for me. I’ll be buying this product for as long as Clinique makes them 🙂

I had a very traumatic experience after using this eyeliner and I am currently under hospital investigation. After two uses of Quickliner grape my eyes were so swollen they looked like slits with black bruising underneath. I had masses of pus oozing from my eyes which were completely bloodshot.
The doctors prescribed a high dose of steroid drops and eye cream. The condition did not clear up until 5 days later.
I contacted Clinique and they said that although their products say they are 100% allergy tested it did not actually mean that. In other words, they say that it is impossible to test for every possible allergy to their ingredients. They gave me a refund for the eyeliner. How generous!

While I really liked the colour of this eyeliner, it realy irritated my eyes, which has never happened to me before. My eyes are red and puffy exactly where I applied the eyeliner. I’m disappointed because I really like other Clinique products and I really did like the colour.
