This is my eyeliner of choice for oily lids and smudging. I have always liked liquid liner (used to use L’oreal infallible) but I do tend to rub my eyes during the day and I have oily lids with one of my lids being a monolid. Most eyeliners will smudge at the corner as I always wing my eyeliner.
This doesn’t move. Like the other reviewer says, it applies like a liquid but dries like a thin film on the skin. It’s super strange. It takes a minute or two to dry, so don’t blink/smudge it during that time!! If I lightly rub my eye during the day, it doesn’t smudge. I have noticed some flaking when I remove it, but I honestly prefer my wing missing from my eyeliner (it comes off cleanly) than having the skin around my eye go dark. think if you have dry lids, then you may see this happen to you more readily than I do. I can normally get about 8 hours without it breaking down (7am to about 4pm) and if I go out, I just touch up before I go. I have applied a powder shadow when it was damp and got it to last a solid 17 hour day.
I don’t like the packaging for any specific reason – I just prefer slim line tubes. The brush tip at the end is a bit shorter than most western brands so there’s quite a bit of painting to fill in a really dramatic cat eye look.

I am actually very surprised to see the reviews on this product. I’ve owned this eyeliner for a while now, and although it isn’t too bad, it certainly isn’t as great (to me) as the reviews make it sound.
I bought this eyeliner for around 10 bucks CAD, and this was around the time I first started using makeup. The brush was a little difficult to handle and I would say that sometimes it still is. Although the product comes out an opaque black and does not smudge, it DOES flake off very easily. I couldn’t even wear it for a full school day without it beginning to flake. This is without me touching or rubbing my eyes at all.
This eyeliner is okay for short wear, but I would not recommend it for a full day’s wear. I would not repurchase it.

my hg eyeliner, nothing else will stay on all day, not smudge, not transfer, stay actually waterproof on my oily lids. I’ve even worn it in showers and it is still perfect afterwards (no joke).
It is great because it creates a film when the liquid dries so there is only hte possibility of flaking which sometimes happens when I cringe my eyes together too much when my eyes are too dry.
cons:
I would, however, warn those with a monolid, because I occasionally wake with one, I find that it doesn’t work because the friction from the hooded lid causes the film to flake off.
pros:
– leaves a completely matte finish
-is relatively super cheap ($14AUD instore)
– lasts for ages (one tiny bottle lasted me 1-2 years (should throw it away after 1 year due to hygiene reasons)
– stays put all day, and best of all
– you can even use it as the most waterproof mascara in the whole world (downfall is, it doesn’t give lashes any length whatsoever, but it does darken them and hold the curls in place).
-dries fast, but not too fast that you can’t smudge it out a bit! I can apply eyeliner in 5 seconds and run out the door
– so easy to use, the handle is the perfect size, the brush is the perfect length (not too long not too short) to create the perfect line
-incredibly pigmented, you only need one layer to create a non transparent layer of blackness

First off let me say that I have the MOST oily skin ever! I have used numerous of so called “waterproof”, “smudge proof” etc.. From basic drug store brands, to high end, & even Japanese & none have met the staying power of this magical ohh sooo lovely eye liner! I LOVE IT! I ordered along with the infamous BB cream & it was love at first try. I love the fact that it’s container is very classic: Little tube with the small thin brush wand which you use to apply. These are the classic eyeliners that are hard to find. I learned how to apply my eyeliner with these kind back in middle school & refuse to use any other kind.
Pro’s:
Waterproof
Smudgeproof
Not shiny or shimmery
Matte
Does not crack
Applies evenly
Con:
You have to order online, it’s KOREAN & takes a bit to arrive.
My all time fayv, I order in bundles for free shipping.

This eyeliner dries into sort of a film and doesn’t smudge. It’s well pigmented and the brush is nice and super fine. Unlike some of the other waterproof liquid liners, it’s light weight and not gunky. There is one problem: when it’s half dry, it’s sticky and sticks onto itself. It’s not like I full on blink before it dries, I know better, but even the slight movement makes it “roll up” and shows the skin underneath. Solution: I dust it with dark eyeshadow during the sticky phase. Then it works perfectly. Bottom line: I probably won’t buy it again. There are products out there that doesn’t require macgyvering.
