I probably use this liner for the opposite reason of most who buy it — I want a nice, thin line just above my upper lash line, and this works perfectly. The tip is thin enough and firm enough to not leave a blot of liner where I don’t want it. It’s on the pricey side, but if I’m not out buying various pencils and liners that don’t do what I want, it’s money well spent!

I really love this eyeliner. It’s the best!!! It lasts all day without problem and it looks so good. It is easy to apply and to make a skinny wing. I totally recommend this product!!

So i was searching high and low for a good white eye liner and I thought, oh kVD produces great eyeliner what can go wrong with this one. Right? It’s quite on the expensive side so it should be all great. Right? Right? Wronggggggg!!! I bought the shade Neruda with all these thoughts, man i was so wrong! i don’t like it at all. It comes out like the chalk color that i use to color my school shoes. Not pigmented at all. It is super streaky and watery. For the price, i don’t think it is worth it at all. NEXT!

I purchased the Kat Von D Ink Liner in Neruda, which is white. The felt tip is very fine and very stiff. It’s a very similar shape and size to the brush tip on her Tattoo liners. It goes on a little bit patchy, but it glides on the eye smoothly and is easy to control. You can build up the colour easily with another coat of liner.
The white colour stays white all day, even on my greasy lids. It doesn’t fade or smudge, even after 12 hours. I like it and do prefer it over her Tattoo liner.

This liner is much better than the tattoo liner. It’s thicker, easier to apply. I can tell the pen will not dry out as fast. If you want a defined semi thick or thick line, this is the liner. It’s a beautiful jet black. The tattoo liner is only for very fine lines. The brush is perfect on this liner, it glides, and you can control the thickness of your line with this brush. Easy to use.

This is by far the best liquid eyeliner I’ve ever used in my entire life. I’ve tried stila, KVD’s tattoo liner, lancome’s artliner, tarte, mac, smashbox and every drug store brand out there too. NO EYELINER COMPARES. The ink liner DOES NOT SMUDGE, it’s super pigmented, and it stays on for soo long. My eyes get super watery throughout the day and this can withstand that. It’s actually a miracle that I don’t have raccoon eyes after having this on for 14 hours straight. Definitely my HG. Just wish it was cheaper.

I love this product! I had never used a pen before and was hesitant if I would be able to.
This product is easy to use, no smudging!
It stays on great but I don`t have to be aggressive to remove it at the end of the day.
I love that I can make it thin or thicker depending on how I hold it.
And it`s vegan!

This is probably my HG liner, it’s matte, VERY long lasting and even somewhat waterproof (but don’t like, wear it in the pool or anything). And because it’s in a pot, not a pen, it lasts forever. The best liner I’ve tried. The only downside is that the tip is pretty goopy when you take it out of the pot, so you have to wipe some of it off for a precise line, but that’s such a small problem for such a great liner.

love love this eyeliner. it is black matte, and does not smudge and stays on all day. I also use the make up forever eye primer. I searched for liquid eyeliners and by far this is the best.

I have a long criteria for eyeliner: matte, dark, easy to apply, long lasting, and preferably water resistant. It seems impossible to find a product that fulfills all of my requirements, but this is one of the better (out of the many, many) liners I have used. It’s not SUPER water resistant, but it doesn’t travel or flake, so I just won’t watch any sad movies while wearing this and I should be ok. Resilience issues aside, however, this liner is probably the most beautiful out there. I took my search for the perfect liner pretty seriously and with the help of a friend, went to MAC and sephora and swatched EVERY SINGLE EYELINER. And this one stood out for its creamy, matte, smooth, and dark qualities. It is a bit pricey, so we’ll see how long it lasts, but it is hands down the most gorgeous liner on the market. (And so easy to apply you guys. No skipping, no clumping, no bleeding, and no stupid brush you have to keep washing.)

Before this I was using the tattoo liner, and my only complaint with that was that it get a bit smudgy if you didn’t have any base on your eyelids before using it. That doesn’t happen with this one. And that is the only reason I would get it over the tattoo one, as beyond that they are exactly the same. I love the brush tip and it glides on perfectly.

I can’t even begin to say enough about this eyeliner. Hands down the best out there. Stays on ALL DAY and is just perfect in every way possible. The only problem is that I wish it was a little cheaper in price. But no matter what I am a slave to this product for the rest of my life. I hope they NEVER EVER change this formula. KVD is my queen for putting out such amazing game changers in the makeup world!

I really want to give this 3.5 stars but that’s not an option so I rounded down.
To start off with the pros of this, it’s a true inky black and I haven’t experienced any streakiness or drying out, unlike the Tattoo Liner.
My issue is with the felt tip shape and stiffness. This applicator is what allows the liner liquid to be as inky as it is, but it also makes it very tricky to apply. I definitely would not recommend this to beginners.
I’m a veteran with winged liner, but my tricky eye shape (downturned and asymmetrical) combined with the stiffness of the applicator makes doing my winged liner a long and labored process in the mornings to ensure a perfect wing. It’s hard to move the tip around, so I end up with a strange choreography of stamping the tip horizontally along my lash line, then twisting and dragging it out to create a wing. It takes more precision and patience than I care for first thing in the morning, which is not worth a repurchase to me.
