Bought this because of the excellent reputation of UD 24/7 liners. This liner is not long lasting at all. Didn’t realize this was the “plush” version of the regular liners but according to their website it’s supposed to last as long as the original etc
I found that the liner went on smoothly and didn’t drag but it smudged and faded like a cheap cheap eyeliner. I have oily, almond shaped eyes. It didn’t matter if I put this just on my top eye, set it with spray etc. I got this for cheaper (8.99) at TJ Maxx, but I still feel ripped off.
Don’t buy this.

The most hated pencil from urban decay. I love the colour it gives a charcoal black but it crumbles on application and specks gets into my eyes and irritates the crap out of it.
I get tears-eye and red because of the specks irritating my eye.

Wow. This eyeliner is next level bad, I used it on my waterline and my eyes immediately start watering and become itchy. The eyeliner also crumbles, and the carbon seems to have shrunk from the pencil, making it hard for me to put it on, especially with the sharp wooden edges when it’s not sharpened enough.

Do you like wearing your eyeliner in your eyeball instead of on your lashline? If so, buy this product. If not, stay far, far away. This applied a crumbly, patchy charcoal (not black), and flaked off into my eyes and onto my cheeks throughout the day. The lead also would break off in big pieces every time I tried to sharpen this–Good luck getting a sharp tip with this. I felt like I was using an eyeliner that had been drying out for years. Absolutely atrocious.

For all the hype on this eyeliners I was really disappointed. This stuff faded so quickly. Was not pigmented. And just didn’t perform.

Sucks!! It tugs and pulls at the eye while barely dispensing any color. Applies nicely to the hand, but does not apply well onto the eye area. Pass on this one.

It’s so crumbly! I keep using it because I ran out of my other eyeliners and I got this one as a gift. But it’s a total pain to apply, and can literally be a pain when a crumble gets into my eye. Which does happen at some point in the day. It’s so funny that Perversion was too soft for me, and this one is too crumbly. I love the 24/7 eyeliners in the bright or glittery colors, but plain black ones from that line just don’t work out for me.

I have used this eye pencil in perversion and zero and loved it. I bought the black velvet last time because it was on sale for $10 each. I do NOT like the black velvet at all. It I’d crumbly and wouldn’t go on with ease. The other colors are wonderful!!! Don’t judge the 24/7 eyeliner based on if you are trying black velvet because it is not the same as all th other colors. I don’t know what happened to black velvet batch but if I had bought it first I wouldn’t like it either. Soooo, I would buy it again but not the in black velvet.

Please try this for yourself. Do not go by what others are saying. This is an amazing eyeliner. Dude, like I can’t even. So it glides on so smoothly over eyeshadow and leaves a DEEP sooty black color. I even used it in the waterline and it went on evenly and stayed. Perversion has been my go to for several years now but I am adding Black Velvet to the lineup. I NEVER liked Zero. I go for whore-like levels of black eyeliner and Zero just never did that for me.
Just like Perversion, this did smudge just a bit beneath my lashes. But when you deal with pencil liners that are amazingly black you tend to expect a bit of that. Now I agree with the other posters, when swatched next to Perversion this looks more gray – until it sets. It sets to being just as black as Perversion. I guess it is the matte effect that takes a minute. I will be repurchasing this over and over. Glad I tried it.

I tried this out after reading so many great reviews about the 24/7 pencil, and was referred to this shade by a Sephora specialist, since i have oily eyelids.
I bought it without trying it on my eyes first, which was a huge mistake. It CRUMBLED and SKIPPED everywhere. By the time I was done applying, I had bits of eyeliner all over my under eye and patchy eyeliner. It was a hot mess. I really tried to make it work since it was formulated for oily eyelids, but I couldn’t.
Returned it same day.
