This is an awesome palette, however, as pretty as the packaging may be, it is super flimsy! My case no longer closes and constantly opens on its own. I had to be a little ghetto fabulous and use a rubber band to keep it together. Other than the packaging, the colors are beautiful and pigmented.

This is a dupe of the now discontinued True Love palette. Both palettes contain Skiba and Babe, the rest of the shades are pretty similar, with the exception of the True Love cream shade. If you’ve run out of your True Love palette and are contemplating paying high prices on ebay – don’t. Poetica is better because it doesn’t contain a cream shade that will dry out (which if yours dried out, can be duped with MAC Rubenesque) and comes with a black eyeliner instead of poor quality brushes. Kat also does a cool youtube tutorial with Poetica. With the exception of the dark lipstick, I wear her Poetica look on a semi-regular basis, always comes out nice.

I wound up returning it. The colors just didn’t work for me. The purples were not flattering. I found most of the colors were either too light or too dark and the cream shadow was a hard dried up mess.
I do like some of her other palettes though.
