Comes in a set of “mini eye essentials.” A dark brown, very soft texture. Some faint shimmer. The kit includes a pearl crayon and a brow pencil plus a black eyeliner. The gimmick is these fit into a little cylindrical case and travel well. They are expensive and none of them wow me.

I received this in a subscription box. It’s not an equal of Laura Mercier’s caviar eye shadows/liners. I own LM’s Cocoa, which in color is close to Trestique’s Kona Coffee. After not using the Trestique for a couple weeks, it was dry, which has never happened with the caviar sticks. For the price difference of $2, I wouldn’t choose this one over LM.

I got this in a beauty bag, and it’s almost gone.
It’s not quite an eyeshadow, but not really an eyeliner, but what I did find is that when I use it as an eyeliner, I have an instant smoky eye, that’s subtly appropriate for day use. it’s got good pigmentation. It reminds me of the ‘morning after’ look when you fall asleep with your makeup on (but I’ve never done that, of course) in a good way. The ‘eyeline’ is a bit blurry but still well pigmented, if that makes any sense. I have extremely light colored eyes and it’s hard to find eyeliner that is pigmented well that doesn’t look harsh. the shade is brown, but not with all the red pigment that will wreak havoc on pale skin.
I did notice that it might smudge a bit below my eyes as the day progresses, but I really like the look overall, so a blot with some tissue is worth it. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments about my eyes when I use it,
The price is a bit of a setback, but I kind of love it enough anyway.

Shadow in a tube/pen? Cool. This is my first time trying this kind of eyeshadow. I use this sometimes as a brow pen or just brown eyeliner. Pigmented it is.

I love the idea of this product line, which is all about portability and not needing a ton of brushes to apply makeup (mostly blushes, eye crayons, and foundation sticks). The color Kona Coffee is a nice medium brown and is fairly pigmented. The stick itself is not the greatest because it smudges easily has a tendency to migrate. If this had a bit more staying power, it would be a fabulous product.
