I really enjoy these, I bought 4 colors because they were on clearance for $1.50. The staying power is amazing. I usually use them as a primer with a complimenting powder shadow, just so I can have more control over the color. They are vibrant on there own but a bit tricky to blend at first it is very creamy but they dry pretty fast and you shouldn’t blink while it’s drying or it will crease. I would compare it to the maybelline eye shadow tattoo line. I have both and I like these better because it is has a wand applicator with is less mess and they less of a chance for them to dry out,

I have only one of these, in Manganese Purple. It is a gorgeous shade, very plummy and jewel-toned, and I wanted it as something easy to complement my green eyes. It does do that, but I have not mastered applying it. It’s a nice, creamy texture, but it’s not as opaque or as blendable as I’d like — it swatches better on my hand than it applies on my eyes. I apply it like a liner, and it’s a bit all over the place and won’t behave quite like I want it to, and I try to apply it like an eyeshadow and I get bald patches where my skin shows through because it applies unevenly. It works fairly well with eyeshadow, though, to kind of reinforce it, and I have to admit I haven’t used it with a primer. Maybe there’s magic in that, but so far I haven’t felt like doing that. Fortunately I got it on sale for a good price, which is nice, since I don’t think it’s worth the $7 or $8 it normally costs.

I’m quite torn about this product. I have quite extreme feelings about it because there are qualities I either love or hate. I’ll start with what I love, because hey, that’s always good, right? The staying power on this is awesome. It lasts all day without creasing, and while most eyeshadows do this on me because I don’t have oily lids, I can honestly say that I don’t think anyone will have problems with staying power. I doubt anyone will even need a primer. Also, the finish and color are just beautiful. It gives an amazing metallic finish that is very pretty. Now there are also some major problems I have, as well. It is extremely hard to blend. I feel like the only way you can blend this is with a brush and even then, it blends so badly I’ve never come across anything like it. Another problem is the way it dries. It doesn’t dry smooth and nicely like a cream eyeshadow should. Because it blends so awkwardly, it looks kind of crusty on the eyes if you look close enough. My last issue is that the packaging is an epic fail. I didn’t detract points from the product because of this, but my goodness, it is so hard to apply product with it. All in all, I think the good and bad qualities balance out each other so that’s why I gave it a three. Would I recommend it? Ultimately no. There are much better cream eyeshadows in the drugstore, maybe not liquid shadows, but other creams. But it did seem to work better for a lot of other people, so the choice is ultimately yours.

I have this in 017 BEIGE which isn’t beige at all, it’s totally white!! I debated on buying it (because I was hoping for white… It looks white as snow in the tube, but the name on the tube “Beige” threw me for a loop! I read labels…), even taking it back to the cosmetics dept at kmart b4 I marched back up to the check out, but in the end I did buy it & sooo happy w it. It’s white (“ivory”) not beige so if you are expecting a light brown those will be disappointed. I was hoping this would be white from what I could tell by the outside of the tube & my suspicions were confirmed when I got home & swatched on my hand. Kmart is bad about taking back returns on used cosmetics but I was glad it was white, like I said, & this is a rich mousse like texture w a doe foot applicator. As others have said this has a bit of a yellow cast, but I do think it’s pretty close to being actual white. It set/dries quickly! Lasting power is good, I wore it all day & thru a nap & it was still there when I woke up. I like how I can put eyeliner over the top of it after it’s set coz with some cream eyeshadows it’s next to impossible to wear liner on your top lid because they stay tacky or sticky. I like the products I have all tried from Rimmel so far & I want to try more of their stuff. It seems like their eye products are geared towards long wearing products which very much appeals to me, also love their ads for the “London Look,” which to me to my own imagination evokes a sense of super model style & hot couture, but their prices appeal to my budget at the same time. I collect white e/s & this is a good addition to my collection. I will be buying more of these paints & Rimmel in general is 1 of my new fave brands & my new current obsession & muse. 🙂

I’ve seen some good reviews for this product, so I thought I would try it out. I picked up one in Golden Bronze. I really like this product. The color was very rich, and creamy, and easy to blend.(just do it quickly!) The only cons are the product is really cold when you fist apply it, and it sets quickly, so you have to blend out the product almost right away.

I have three of these – although seriously, I need more colors to choose from! I love the first two that I’ve bought, in colors Rich Russet and Golden Bronze. The color is really good and it stays on all day every day. I use them mainly as an eyeliner over my top lid, as it really goes together with my Sleek natural Palette and my Naked 3 Palette.
The last that I bought, Manganese Purple, is however not that good – you have to apply quite a lot of layers to make it look rich. I think it’s really watery, so it does not stay on as good as the other tones.
But I would definitely buy the brownish tones again!

I really do like this product, but I wish there were more colours to choose from. I felt like a lot of the colours available were very dark. With that being said though, I do like the ones I have, which are: Rich Russet, Chestnut Taupe and Pink. They wear very well as an eyeshadow base or as an actual eyeshadow.

I picked up 4 colours:
#006 Rich Russet – warm toned shimmery brownish bronze shade
#007 Chestnut Taupe – shimmery taupe
#017 Beige – actually shimmery white with hint of yellow, not beige at all (think NARS Albatross type shade)
#018 Pink – shimmery very light pink (think Benefit’s High Beam type shade)
I uploaded some pictures I found online of Rich Russet, and also the Pomegranate. You can see the pigmentation is good, and should work for a range of skintones. It comes in a tube with a doe-foot applicator (which can be a bit scratchy but fine to use, I also applied this with my finger and a stiff MAC shadow brush) and reminds me of Clinique’s Lid Smoothies and their old now discontinued cream eyeshadows in texture.They feel light and almost like mousse when applied and set in a few seconds – giving you time to blend and apply as needed. Once it sets, the eye shadow didn’t migrate or streak all day but it did crease somewhat when used on it’s own after 5-6 hours (and I have hooded eyes so this is a common occurrence). With WnW Fergie Primer/NARS eyeshadow primer, it was fine and didn’t crease at all for a full day (about 10 hours wear for me) but the primer makes it a bit more difficult to blend and spread. I was able to use the various colours together, either blended or using one as a crease shade, highlight shade, and another as a lid shade with no problems – it is easy to blend and and they can be used in a variety of ways. Can also be applied with a liner brush to create a thin line on top of black liner/top of lashes for some extra colour, or used alone as a liner. I like that they are not glittery, but rather have a foiled type look, shiny but not over-kill. I’ve also used the lighter shades sparingly in place of a highlighting powder on my cheekbones.
I would repurchase but *only* if they made some matte colours, please Rimmel! The colour selection is so-so, with some nice colours but all so far are very shimmery – shimmery black, shimmery purple, etc.
