Their product is fine, it’s their marketing I hate. When I first started using MAC it was sold to me as an Eco friendly and cruelty free brand. Then without any advertisements they were acquired by another company and their morals went with it. I am angry I have been using products tested on animals for years under a false pretence.

I like Mac eyeshadow because of the wide variety of colors. I have a difficult time finding eyeshadow colors that do my green/hazel eyes justice. I also have a hard time finding a decent variety of matte colors in most brands. I have a ton of shimmery eye shadows but I feel like at my age I really don’t need to be so shimmery al the time. I like a nice matte color and maybe just a little shimmer to the highlight color. Mac has several matte shades that work for me. I like that their refill pans are only $6 and have about the same amount in them as the ones that cost $16. Most of the colors seem to blend well. A few take some layering while others are very pigmented. Overall I’d say their very good quality. I’ve been using them since the 90’s. I’m a little mad about them discontinuing brown script though.

Background: Long term makeup junkie, large HE eye shadow collection. I’ve never been a die hard MAC fan, but I do enjoy the use of several of their products. However, MAC is just one of the many retailers and brands that I use, I don’t find it any more desirable than anything else. I use what I think is good. That being said, because of personal preferences, I’ve never owned their eye shadows, but I’d been eyeing up a few staple colors just to see what the fuss was about. At 10 USD per pro refill pan, I restrained myself since I have a respectable collection anyway. They just had a $10 off $50 sale online though, and I figured it was time.
I purchased: Kid, Soft Brown, Haux, Brown Script and Embark
I’m very pleased with all of them formula wise. I think they are definitely good quality. All the good things people say is true in my opinion. I’m not going to go into detail since everyone has heard it all before…However…
I just HAVE to say, I was really, really disappointed in the pan and magnet combo. Truly, I was shocked. I love pan style shadow that I can stick in my Z pallets. It’s my preferred method for shadow, blush, contour, everything powder. Inglot, MUFE, ABH, MUG and even Coastal Scents use metal pans that work like a dream with any magnetic pallet. The MAC eye shadows come in an aluminium, cheap looking pan with a low quality magnet glued to the bottom. I was less than impressed for the price. Although they do “stick” to my Z pallet, they do not feel secure and move around when I use them. I find it ridiculous, if you don’t mind my ranting.
Do I think the quality of the eye shadow makes it worth purchasing despite the pan…Not necessarily. I’m going to purchase 4 more to fill up a small Z pallet just because I’m anal like that, and I will most definitely use them. But, no, after that, I don’t think the quality is so fantastic that I need to start a full blown MAC shadow collection. The formula quality is no better than other comparable shadows. I gave 4 lippies because I simply can’t fault the shadow itself, it’s still good. But, I had to take off at least one because of what a disappointment the packaging was. I just can’t justify the price when $1 Coastal Scents shadow offers better quality packaging than MAC. Really MAC, do your product some justice.

I bought the Ulta eyeshadow Plum Pop for $8.50. It comes with a magnetic pan that can be easily popped out of the case if you prefer magnetic palettes to keeping single shadows in their packaging. The first thing I noticed on trying this shadow was I got a lot of kick up when trying to pick up the shadow, having barely touched it. However, I had no issues with shadow fallout when I was applying it. It was surprisingly pigmented and blended easily. I found it applied better when my eyeshadow primer was set with a powder base instead of just applying it on top of the primer. The shadow held up well throughout the day. I was pleasantly surprised with the Ulta eyeshadow and I will definitely try more in the future.

These are inexpensive and perfect for my 11 year old make-up loving tween – especially on sale. Some are matte, some glittery, some in between. You have to try a few and play around. Not a HG but a good way to seek out new colors to try.

I have Ulta eye shadows in several of the darker colors, both in palette and single eye shadow form. (They look like they’re the same manufacture.) The darker colors are dark enough for good color payoff, if you’re pale; the shades are gorgeous, up close.. They also seem more expensive than the $6-8 or buy-two-get-two free would indicate. Finely milled and very pigmented, these are pretty, and absolutely worth the price.
However, if you’re allergic, give these a pass. They’re pretty, professional looking, and fun to play with, but they’ll burn your eyes in a few hours if you’re prone to eye-shadow allergy. I love the idea of these, but the execution didn’t quite live up to my (unfortunately very allergic) expectations.

I am a little surprised that these get rather high ratings.
I bought 8 of these last year when they were on sale, BOGO (or one of their sales that made these really cheap/super-affordable). I find all of the shades to be very extremely flat (even the sparkly/glittery/shimmery ones..??) and very severely lacking in pigmentation. I have to apply several layers, and they also look patchy easily; for me they are hard to blend, even using different primers and even applying a foundation or concealer to my eyelids, no matter what little ‘tricks’ I tried, or even what I used to apply these (various brushes, sponges, even my fingertips), these just were not good. Wear-time was even worse, I got barely an hour of wear out of these before they either faded into nothing or creased or started to look even more patchy.
These might be nice for someone just starting out with makeup and can’t afford a lot, if you get them on sale. I would think someone getting into makeup would not want a heavy dramatic look anyway, so this “lighter” (ie: less pigmentation) look might be perfect. Also for me generally speaking the colors in the pan varied greatly as opposed to what they look like swatched on my hands and applied to my eyelids. But I gave these 2 stars as opposed to one, because I think there is a market out there for this. However, for me, even if I was a newbie, I think I would stick with the Maybelline or Covergirl eyeshadow singles. I think they are actually even more affordable and IME perform and wear much better.

I bought this shadows a while back, but the got lost at the bottom of all my makeup, but I just did a clean and found them again a couple months back. I have 7 shades, 4 trials (Naked (GL), Cala lily (SH), Mystique (SH), Key West (SH)) & 3 full size (Mist (SH), Satine (SH), Sable (MT)). They are all pigmented, the shimmer shades may be a little less than the matte shades, but they do give a good color payout and you can put as little or pack more color. They blend great, and they have a great price for the amount of product you get. The last me all day and don’t move, of course I always use a primer with all my shadows.
The only 2 shades I am not crazy for is Satine (pink) & Mist (olive green/yellow), the first one because the color doesn’t look good on me, and the second one because it is a color I just don’t ever think of. But for my everyday (actually everyday) simple routine, Sable (latte brown) and Naked (off white), are my go to shadows, Sable for all over lid and Naked as a inner corner eye highlight.
One last thing, Ulta has matte, shimmer (most of the selection of colors are this type) and glitter shadows, and the glitter one are very glittery so if it is day-wear use little if not it is going to look like nightwear. Naked is glitter and that is why I use a bit of it as a highlight in the inner corner.

Update 2/29/16: I have to add that after a couple of years of going back and forth with these shadows, and thinking they aren’t pigmented enough, I found the answer….primer. I started using NYX eyeshadow base and wow, what a difference. I really, really like Ulta eyeshadow now; it goes on smoothly and doesn’t crease with primer. My favorites for a neutral crease color are Gold Dust (a purply taupe shimmer) and Mystique (taupe shimmer).
Nice selection of colors and good amount of product in the pan at an excellent price (especially if you get them on sale).
These shadows last all day with primer and I don’t have a problem with creasing, fading, or fallout. I’ve bought Elegance, Mystique, and Twilight, and while they are pretty, there really isn’t a lot of color payoff for me.
My daughter uses Silk and Peacock and loves both of them. She uses silk as a wash with just her eyeliner, and Peacock as a lid color and they look really nice on her. (Very fair skin, dark red hair and green eyes).

My friends mom gave me this when she was cleaning out her collection because she was pregnant. The color is very pretty and it really compliments my blue eyes. I also use this as a highlighter and it looks beautiful as that too. If you can afford it and you are looking for a cruelty free eyeshadow, go ahead and purchase it. I really like Jane Iredale eyeshadows. They have good color, nice texture and good staying power. They aren’t quite as creamy as the korres or clinique eyeshadows (my other favorites), but they are still quite good. One thing I wish is they had more shimmery options, many of her eyeshadows are matte and I like a little shimmer to mine.

sigh. As much as I love Jane Iredale foundation and blush, I hate the eyeshadow. This stung my eyes and made them water, and even though I used Too Faced eye primer, this faded away to almost nothing. Literally. I used the triple cognac trio, and it faded so bad that it wasn’t even apparent I was wearing eyeshadow…it looked like I had slept in my makeup and just decided to not wash my face and I was wearing yesterday’s makeup. So disappointing. And it was so expensive too. Dang almost anything is better than this! No recommendation.

This is my favorite natural eyeshadow. The color is true, it lasts all day, and really flatters my coloring. I have the trio in Triple Cognac. The lightest color makes a great overall wash, the medium a good crease color and the darker brown a nice outer V color. They apply smoothly and give a consistent color. I always use primer, so that helps. Having switched to all natural eye products, these shadows are my favorite. I used to have very red, irritated eyes all the time and making the switch to Jane Iredale shadows, Korres Mascara, Pur Minerals liner and Bare Escentuals or Pur Minerals primer has made a huge difference.

I’m really sad that I can’t like this product! I love JI so much, but the eyeshadow was a real let down!
Within about 30 minutes it was creasing–really badly! And I had on eyeprimer!
The colors are GORGEOUS, and the texture is really good (it applies very smoothly), but unforunantely, it creases horribly for me. I do have very oily skin, so that probably helped it to crease. If you have oily skin, don’t buy this!

I reluctantly bought this shadow after a bout of conjuctivitis due to Bare Minerals eye shadows. Initially I didn’t think it was due to the shadows but after throwing it all away, waiting for the infection to clear up and re-purchasing all new Bare Minerals it happened AGAIN!! Anyway, these shadows are hard to find in salons so I drove out of my way on the way home from work one night and purchased two single shadows, a brown and light taupe color. In addition to the pure ingedients they are supposed to contain they contain pine bark extract and pomegranite extract. Sounds like it could be highly allergenic but I thought I would give it a whirl. Well…. that lasted about a week before I woke up one morning to bright red and very painful eyes! Arrgggh, what the heck?! I am done with mineral shadows!!! Ladies, save your money on these expensive and messy shadows. They are no better than the drugstore shadows which is what I am going back to now.

I have a couple palettes I found for under $5 each. These eyeshadows are amazing!! I posted some pictures of both so hopefully they are up for all to see. The quad called “Smoke and Ashes” I got at T. J. Maxx a couple months ago and the ten color palette called “Smokey Eyeshadow Palette” I got at Ross just yesterday. I was really pleased with the quad so when I saw the palette I had to get it. The textures of these are nice. Not quite UD or Lorac quality. They are more like Milani. The frosted ones are a bit creamier than the satins but not by much. There are no real mattes in these palettes but all the eyeshadows are subtle on the eyes not glittery except one color that has some glitter in it. They are on the slightly sheer side but build up well. I find they all blend nicely and the colors all stay true to pan and swatches when applied to the lid. They wear about six hours plus with primer. They cause no irritation to my eyes as well. The colors are neutral and look good on my cool toned skin. I recommend these to anyone.

I found these at TJ Maxx (7 in a package (they were duos for some reason?) for $5, so 14 shades) they’re very pigmented, and all the shades I got were good everyday colours, and great to travel with.

Yes paula dorf does have a lot of pigmentation…..just as much as mac but their colors are not as wild. she made her whole line to be friendly for all skin tones which i love. I like that you can use the transformer and make liner out of any of her shadows. If anyone has problems with the eyeshadow getting all over the place heres what you do……trick of the trade……shadow first foundation/ concelor last…..so you can clean up any bo bo’s. favorite colors- mambo, golddigger, metro, stardust, tease, and halo

These are first-class eye shadows, they apply like velvet, have rich coloring and last forever. Worth every penny! I didn’t choose the right colors my first time, and will try to swap, but I will definitely repurchase her eyeshadows in better color choices for me.
Someone compared these to Stila — no way. These are another quality level, much higher.

I only own one Paula Dorf eyeshadow, in Safari, which is a deep, matte green. I’m the only person on the planet that likes matte shadows, it seems, so finding this shade from Paula Dorf was a nice surprise. I’ve had this huge pot for several years, and considering how strongly pigmented it is, it’ll be a miracle if I ever reach the bottom of it. I literally just tap the surface with my brush and apply. Very high quality product that is easy to apply and blend (i hate the powdery mess that spill on your cheeks with some shadows). Highly recommended; I think this eyeshadow is a good value.

Paula Dorf eye shadows are simply THE BEST! Smooth, easily blended, and highly pigmented. She gives you a nice size and wonderful quality. The shadow stays on well and the colors are rich and luscious. Must haves…for sure! I wish I could give it more than 5 lippies.

I have the duo in Aqua/Mint, and I like these a lot, although I don’t wear the colour much. They are silky and have a lot of pigment. I got this on sale though, and if it hadn’t been I don’t think I would have shelled out the extra money.

I’ve only seen this at one drug store near me. I decided to try it since it was the first time I saw this particular brand. First, this is an expensive brand for a drug store. That made me hesitant, but I bought it anyway. I should have left it on the shelf. I got the duo in brown base. The packaging is not that bad, but it is hard to open. I don’t know what to make of the pigmentation. It’s bad when swatched with a finger, but when swatched with the sponge applicator provided, the pigmentation is good. I won’t be repurchasing this.

After paying a little more for this eyeshadow than drugstore brands, I regretted spending the extra money. The colour does not last long and the pigment isn’t very strong. It’s turned me off all GOSH cosmetics.

I suppose this is likely an okay black eye shadow for individuals who do not want an ‘extreme’ or ‘dramatic’ look. If you are looking for a pure, pigmented black, however, you will be disappointed. The colour payoff is more of a light charcoal gray, and the staying power is limited. Its blending abilities are unremarkable as well.
The only good thing I could say about this product is that the packaging is fairly nice. I have no idea if it is possible to de-pot these, but I like that they are flat-topped (I am somewhat anal-retentive about makeup organization and the fact that I could stack multiple colours – not that I would buy other colours, mind you – is nice).
Frankly, I find GOSH’s products to be incredibly overpriced for a drugstore brand, especially considering their low quality.

Brought this for just £2 at Superdrug so I wasn’t expecting anything amazing. Pigmentation is weak so colour pay-off is sheer, I brought 001 Golden Green, which just gives a subtle wash of colour. Very bad quality.

I have one of thier single eye shadows in 21 violet.
These shades normally go for 14 $ at my drugstore thankfully they were redoing the entire gosh display and I got this for 2$ and that’s about all it’s worth.
It is a lovely in the container that’s the only thing that lovely about it.
It doesn’t come out the same color on your eye as it does not the pan,it won’t blend either it stays where to put it or it blends itself into nothingness.It goes on streaky this just proves to me expensive doesn’t nescaarly mean good.I got eyeshadows from the dollar store that are better than this

Bought a shade called “Ballerina” its a beautiful pale, pink with a hint of lavender. Doesn’t flake or anything. Good quality packaging.

i am a faithful merle norman user and i love most of their products. i have a love/hate relationship with their eyeshadows. i love how they are so blendable and they go on so smooth but i am not happy with the recent color choices. it seems like all the colors i love have been discontinued. i wish they would come out with colors that could rival mac. that is my only complaint about the shadows. other than that i love merle norman and will continue to be a faithful user!

The MN eyeshadows are just ok, imo. The color payoff isn’t very good, which is fine if you like sheer shadows. There is an extensive line of colors, but they don’t have many brights. I’m actually allergic to most of them, but this is not the only brand I’m allergic to. Some of the colors can be a little bit chunky and hard to blend, but then again…so can some other brands.

Luxiva Lasting Eyecolor Chocolate: This is a beautiful Chocolate color with a great shimmer in it. It has slight plum tone to it, but this can go with many other browns you may have in your collection.

I have used MN eyeshadows for over 20 years and LOVE them. The few times I have tried another product, I have been disappointed, wonder why I ever stray. I have bought some MN colors that I wasn’t crazy about once I got them home but have always been able to return if I keep the reciept. Can’t say that about most make-up. This eyeshadow blends very well and lasts all day. Also, I still have the very first compact I bought in 1983. I used to use that color every day and it is still almost half full and hasn’t disinigrated.

I ended up getting a Luxiva Lasting Eyecolor Duet for free recently. The colors I got are Shell and Tearose. One is a pale pinkish color and the other is a dark mauve. I am NOT an eyeshadow person. I can’t apply it properly, I guess, because I always look like someone’s blacked my eyes. And, I must have the most oily eyelids ever because eyeshadow tends to almost instantly crease and slide around on me. For some reason, though, I got up this morning and used both of these colors. Here I am, 12 hours later and the eyeshadow is still on me. It’s un-creased and looks as good as it did this morning. I think I might believe in miracles now. I don’t know how much MN eyeshadows normally retail for, but I will be investigating these further. I’m extremely impressed.

I love this line of Eye Shadows. I bought the entire line for my pro kit and haven’t regretted it a single day. The pigmentation is awesome. The staying power is out of this world and the color selection is phenomenal. I can’t say enough nice things about this shadow. It just glides on, blends well, and is highly pigmented. This is a quality eyeshadow. I prefer this to MAC in my pro kit and when I work with other artists they always “borrow” this from my kit even though they have a whole kit full of eyeshadow. It’s a favorite with my clients for the extreme wearability and it’s a favorite with my fellow artists because of the high level of pigment and blendability. The bonus is that this photographs nicely without being too shimmery, too matte, or too flat. It’s just beautiful and it lasts all day. One of the best shadow lines out there!

The frosted ones are ok. The eyeshadows themselves are too powdery. They don’t blend very well. They’re not very good. Okay for day wear but that’s about it. There’s much better out there . I think they’re reformulating them so I’m looking forward to that

In recent years (I’m in my late 30’s) I’ve begun to experience excema on my eyelids. I’ve never had sensitive skin before, but lately my eyelids have been exceptionally sensitive to all products but especially to eyeshadows. Arbonne shadows are the only ones I seem to be able to use. Since switching to Arbonne (about a year ago) I haven’t had any problems with dry or irritated eye lids. I’m happy to have found something I can wear.

I purchased 2 eyeshadows in Linen and Subtle and they’re perfect together for an every day neutral eyeshadow look. The formula of these eyeshadows is extremely smooth and silky and they go on/blend well. I also like wearing this combo when I want to sport heavy winger eyeliner. I leave my lid neutral with these two colours then apply my eyeliner and it doesn’t look overdone. Linen is a great all over lid /brow bone colour and Subtle is a great crease colour on my NC20 skintone. I ordered with my co workers so I got a great deal but its a little pricey when its at its regular price and you have to purchase one of their 2 eyeshadow pallets for $4 when purchasing these eyeshadows.

I do like the colors of the eyeshadows and they do stay on but when you put them on w/the brush most of the powder brushes off onto my sink which is a mess and huge waste! I also hate that you have to buy the eyeshadow holder and I didn’t think they fit right. When I slide the lid open some of the shadow always brushes off.

I love these, they’re so silky, blendable.
The color is so true, buildable and flattering.
And they’re the only shadows that truly last all day on my oily lids.
The packaging is irritating because it comes in a little plastic buggy to encourage you to buy an empty palette into which to put them. I already had one as a gift so I was fine but I found that annoying.
PS: they NEED more colors.

This is a product I am very pleased with. I only have two of the blue shades so far. The color is very satiny and covers the lid with just one swipe plus is easy to build up to a more intense color. It stays put all day.
I really like Lancome and MAC shadows as well. I would say I like all three equally depending on the color spectrum I am after. I do wish that Arbonne had a wider range of color choices, however, they have quite a few “neutrals” so will look forward to trying some of those.

This eye shadow stinks!!! i have many, many, many colors and they do not stsy put! I’ve tried dabbing my brush with a little water and still- it doesnt stay on. Just like the eyeliner- it absolutly positivly stinks!!!

kay, it really depends on the color. I have an ice pink that is the perfect shadow. it goes on perfectly, and wears all day.
But I have a deep plum that is useless.
Mac has a great recycling program, but animal tests. I would buy more if they got with the times. Also I gave packaging a low grade because my eyeshadow pots always lose their glass tops!

I have been a makeup junkie for 35 years. I recently discovered these shadows and I absolutely love them! I always use a primer, a transition color (Soft Brown) in my crease and then whatever color I am in the mood for, on my lid. My newest addition to my collection is Coppering. They are fun and easy to work with. They are creamy and blend wonderfully! Beautiful shadows!

I love mac shadow their my favs of all time. Their s hardly any fall out and I have oily eyelids and they stay put all day with no creasing and they look even better with a primer underneath their so many amazing gorgeous colours . I love all mac packaging the black sparkly pots of colours and the clear lid to see the product. I think £12 for a pot is a bit much but I love the shadows too much too resist. They are the best so I treat my self every now and then to a new shadow. I would so recommend to a friend and already have getting my friends hucked on mac products, their just amazing, my fav eye shadows of all time

I have tried alot of Ulta eyeshadows. The pluses for this brand is 1) cost 2) range of colors and 3) highly pigmented. I have been very fortunate to get alot of the eyeshadows for free. When there is a super sale, you can get these for about $1. I do get compliments when I wear these eyeshadows. But here is the negatives 1) very shimmery 2) no lasting power, it falls off into your eyes. I can deal with the shimmery by only using it for a night look, but the fact the eyeshadow flakes off into eyes is just too much. I wear contacts and I constantly have itchy watery eyes. I do prime my lids before using this, but it still falls off.

Oyster/Supernova is beautiful. I really like the daytime and nighttime kits also. I use the cream to powder eyeliner in Plum Plus with the oyster/supernova and it looks great! The shadows stay on all day. I dont have to retouch at all during the day. I got my JI from agelessapple.com at a great price.

I am honestly surprised people like this so much. I know her products have a good reputation, but I am not a fan of her eye shadows. I bought a pallete that has 5 different shadows, and they looked SO pretty in the package. I was just sure they would be fabulous. The reality, however, wasn’t as great. They do go one smooth and have a nice texture, but the lighter colors are chalky and the staying power (even with lid primer) is poor. I guess what I would say is that if you’re looking for a very subtle day-time look, these are fine. If you’re looking for something a little smokier and dressier to wear at night, I wouldn’t recommend it. It will be so faded half way through the evening. When it comes to shadow staying power, it’s very difficult to beat MAC. If you need something to last you all night without fading or creasing that’s the way to go.

So far, these are some of the best eye shadows I have ever tried. They are just that good. Easy to blend, smooth application, doesn’t irritate, nicely pigmented, application is just a breeze, feels really good on, and is easy to wash off. The only other eye shadows I’ve tried that compare are Chanel and YSL. They don’t fade, don’t crease (even without primer), hug the brush until it hits your skin and then hugs the eyelid. I’ve never seen an eyeshadow that has almost NO fallout. I’m am truly in love with JI PureMoist Lipsticks and eye shadows.

I’ve had Paula Dorf’s eyeshadow in Tribal for almost two years. The pot is so big and the product is so pigmented that I probably have enough for another two years. The color is a reddish mud brown. I think it looks striking on my PPP cool complexion. There is no glitter or iridescence in it, which I like. I think matte is more flattering. Also it is incredibly easy to blend. a staple in my makeup collection.

Highly recommended. I have a palette of PD eye shadows (comes with eye primer and a brush). I never liked to use shadow with shimmer before because they made me look really “fake”, but PD colors with shimmer have a more natural look. Overall, high quality product that goes on beautifully. There has been some breaking up, but minimal when compared to Stila, which is the worst.

I have this in Slinky – which I use for a smoky eye or eyeliner. As an eyeliner it has great staying power. It creased a lot on my as a shadow, but I’m still looking for my hg eye primer! Its expensive at $18, but you get a lot of shadow.

I am starting to suspect that the name “GOSH” stands for “Gosh, I just wasted my money.”
I was really hoping to love this eyeshadow, the colours in the store sample on display were so beautiful and seemed to have such gorgeous pigmentation. I bought a trio with a beautiful dark brown, stunning-looking gold, and a white. But when I got it HOME, the whole thing just looked like a terrible, muted, muddy mess on my eye. The dark brown was barely-there, and I ended up having to really pile it on to get any results at all. And still, even after making a concerted effort to make it all work, it just looked so drab that I ended up adding a bit of dollar-store gold just to liven up my eyelids, and it looked 20x better than the GOSH shadow.
Very disappointed.

I have this colour in 237, it is a blue green colour but when applied is more blue. I got it 50% of because it was being discontinued so it was about $8.00 at Shoppers. It feel silky when applied but I find it creases very easily after 2-3 hours. To me, that’s a deal breaker. It applies very easily and sheerly so you can build up the colour. I wouldn’t buy this product again because I feel it is cheaply made and overpriced, but also I bought this when I first start buying MAC products, I heard Gosh was comparible, but it really truly isn’t, I bought this to see what would last longer, and MAC far outlasts Gosh by at least 6-7 hours!

This foursome of eyeshadows may look a weird combination, and I have to admit it is. I can’t see myself using the colours (a browny red, a metallic green, a metelic pink and a ligh yellow) togheter. The only colour I use a lot is the browny red (it looks amazing with a toned down champagne pink). I bought the palette because of the browny red and metallic green, they are unique and aren’t colours you would see often in a palette or separate. But how to wear the green is still a mistery to me
The pigmentation is okay, not amazing but quit good (i have seen better). There is NO fallout, not even in the darker colour, what is a massive plus (this could be due to the ‘lack’ of pigmentation). Overall a allright palette, I bought it for, wait for it, €1 (in dollars: $1.32). For full price I would never have bought this colour combination, it is just to difficult to combine, but for €1 it is amazing.

I bought the Cloud Nine eyeshadow quad, and at first I wasn’t too impressed with it. I should have tried it on before I bought it, but I was in a hurry to get it. After all, the girl in the ad looked so good with it! I didn’t find the shadows as pigmented as I had hoped, but they do last a long time. Also, one of the pans of shadow wasn’t glued into the compact very good. It hardly shows up on me if I just put it on dry. If you apply this shadow wet, it looks very good, and I have received compliments on it. Also makes a great eyeliner.

I have been using these eyeshadows for 5 years now and can’t live without them! The colors are soft and sophisticated, and they blend so easily; they’re not dry, and they don’t tug at your eyelids, like alot of other shadows do. One of my favorite shades is Oyster, which is a whitish-yellow shimmer that you can also use as a highlighter. A definite must have!!!

I have used Merle Norman eyeshadows for almost 20 years and always find myself going back to them. They have some of the most beautiful colors (matte and frost selections) and they last all day and are very blendable. If you have not tried any of their products…check them out!

I have been looking for the longest time for a pink color that is just right, and Arbonne has it for me, ballet. The consistency of the powder is just right and stays put. I’m not crazy about having to buy a container to put eyeshadow in, but for $3 more I won’t complain. Eyeshadow is one of the things I’ll splurge on because you really see a difference in quality. I believe Arbonne’s is one of the best I have tried.

I gotta say, this eye shadow rocks! I have never cared too much about the quality of my eye shadow, I’ve always been more interested in color range. (I don’t buy drug store eye shadow, but I’m not picky about the department store eye shadow.) I bought two of these for the colors, but I am greatly impressed by the quality. They last all day, feel great on, and don’t irritate my eyes at all. The size is a bit small, and you have to buy a case to put them in, which is a bit of an extra cost that seems unnecessary, but the high quality will keep me coming back.
