I purchased the purple quad. It’s a beautiful palette (the packaging is high quality). The shades go on smooth and don’t fall off (they are not powdery like cheap drugstore brands that fall off all over), they also give decent pigmentation, but are just average eye shadows in a really neat packaging (came with a mirror). It’s more of a duo for me than a quad, the pairs are barely distinguishable on my skin and I’m relatively fair. I also tried using a primer to see if that helps. Maybe other color quads are better? Yves rocher have great reviews on their single eye shadows, so I had high hopes. Overall, these are better than some drugstore brands I’ve tried, but are not enough pigmented (except for the dark matte plum color).
Edit, 07/03/2015. Because YVR often has free gifts with purchase I decided to order the brown quad too. The brown one is a bit too shimmery in the sense it falls off your eyelids to other parts of your face. I didn’t have that problem with the purple quad.
They are definitely better quality than a lot of eye shadows – I dropped the palette on the floor and the shadow didn’t break like other shadows I’ve had (wet n wild).
