It looks very bright in the pan – basically the perfect shimmery blue – but in order to get that kind of colour on my admittedly yellow skin (I look slightly jaundiced most days) you do have to either layer it about 3 or 4 times or apply it over a white base. It is not quite as pigmented as I would like, but it is still a fantastic product, as it will stay true to what it looked like a few minutes after application for the entire day.

I have green-teal eyes, so I love the ability to play around with colors that bring out a different shade. This just brings out the teal like nothing else.
I mostly use it wet as an eyeliner for an everyday look, but it blended like a charm the few times I needed it to.
I don’t see myself using all of it (because of the huge pan), and it is l/e, but if it wasn’t i’d buy again.

this MAC eyeshadow is about $19.50.not a bad price seeing that it is significantly larger than normal MAC eyeshadows that run at $14.50..so for a little bit more money, the amount of product is doubled.which is really good for the price listed.the color is a teal with alot of metallic.Hence why it is called “mega metal eyeshadow” and it really pops under a base like MAC paintpot in “barestudy” , or just UDPP.really love this color it is pretty unique and you can find alot of other colors to work this with.so it is actually wearable.as for it feeling “creamy” idk about that.. but it is fool proof when it comes to blending lol a great add on for any collection! :]

This is the new peacocky collection of Jan 2011 ! I have to say thus is a very unique color and I don’t have anything like it in any of my Mac shadows the color is a dk teal / aqua it’s very wearable (I’m NC30 ) and I like to use it foiled aka wet ! The texture is very smooth almost creamy , a lil goes a long way and it’s stays in place w my UDPP and w my paintpots 😉 if u haven’t gotten ur hand around this shade and u like blues and teals this is deff a good one to add to ur collection 😉 no I won’t buy aging cause the pot it came in is huge I won’t run out of it in a long time

This is a limited edition eye shadow that came out with the peacocky collection Jan 2011. The finish is a new one called mega metal, and has been compared to the starflash finish. The different shadows released with this finish can range between satiny or more like veluxe pearls. I’d saythis is like a frosty veluxe pearl. It is larger than your average MAC es at its 0.11 oz vs the regular 0.04 oz, value wise it’s more cost effective than usual, but less so than getting a pigment(which are prized almost the same at a little less than 20 dollars a pop)
The color is a tealish blue that is not 80’s looking, and look good with my blue eyes. I like applying it on the outer part of the eye and into the crease.
I was hesitant to get this since it looked so similar to shimmermoss which i already have. But it’s more blue than shimmermoss, so I went ahead and got it. I took a picture with the two together for color and size comparison.
