Having had some limited exposure to Makeup Revolution products (none including eyeshadow), I picked up this eyeshadow palette at Marshall’s for just $4.99 cautiously preparing myself for the possibility of some under-performing shadows or shadows with a lot of fall-out or muddy pigmentation. I had seen one of the Emily Noelle palettes from MUR get absolutely raked over the coals and eventually get pulled, but I figured at this price, I’d throw caution to the wind and give it a shot.
Have had this for a few weeks now and have tried many of the shadows (both the matte and shimmer) and so far, I will say that I’ve been pretty impressed. Product glides on smoothly, has good pigmentation, no fallout and the color selection is a nice mix and includes some key shadows that can be used as transition shades to create a variety of looks.
The only complaint I’d have is the packaging. While this is a nice size palette and it comes with a very nice mirror inside the lid (along with a dual ended brush which I haven’t used, but is probably ok in a pinch and better than the cheap foam applicators some companies put in palettes), the case itself is extremely difficult to open up. It sticks and I’ve had to really struggle to reopen it and get at the shadows. So often that I’ve taken to not bothering to snap the lid shut all the way. I just replace the plastic sheet that was provided inside the palette to protect the shadows and close the lid most of the way without clicking it completely shut. It’s not a big deal as I would not plan to travel with a palette this size, so for the most part it just sits on my vanity.
If you see this at TJ Maxx or Marshalls, I would definitely recommend the New-trals vs. Neutrals as a purchase.

I really like this as it has pretty colors at an affordable price. I do not wear eyeshadow daily so look for items like this e/s palette as it offers great variety of colors, nice quality and also goes well with the single e/s I have.

What’s not to like ? This palette can be picked up under £7 and contains 16 pans of (mostly) very usable and flattering colours for an old bird like me. The pigment level is decent and easily blendable – needs primer on wrinkly eyelids though. All in all an excellent buy and I can find no difference in the product when compared to say my Estee Lauder pans, apart from the packaging of course which is basic and reflects the price. The brush is low-rent but, as a previous reviewer commented, it could be handy for touch ups on the go but not something I would use.

Affordable palette and the mattes and shimmers are very pigmented, long lasting and blendable. I find the shimmers work better when applied with fingers but the mattes work well when applied with a brush. The brush provided is double sided with a flat side and a fluffy side and although it isn’t the best it’s definitely good for the price. Such a versatile palette with the chance to create a range of looks

I really enjoy using this pallette the shadows are good pigmentation, blends easily and last long packaging I’d ok but I wish makup. revolution would stop putting the sponge tip applicators in their pallette and put brushes that we can actually use.

I picked up this palette from Ulta because I was in the need for a new neutral eye shadow palette and this one pretty good!
The pigmentation of the mattes in this palette are pretty good and there is a good range of tones to be used as transition and crease shades. I also love the shimmers in this palette because they really complement the mattes really well. As far as performance, these are my go to eyeshadows for an everyday look because they are pigmented without being overpowering, They also don’t crease and wear all day..
I have some swatches on my blog here:
