This assortment of colours looks sophisticated and versatile in the pan but on application they don’t create much of a look. I tried a heavy black liner with these as a backdrop and still not much action. Mind you I’m not looking for something over the top either. The formula of this line though it great as they blend very softly and the shimmers are perfect pitch. For $60 its going back. I have a smokey eye kit from Physicians Formula which is also baked and it looks even better.

I was looking for an easy every day eyeshadow palette and decided to try this quad. The texture of these shadows is lovely: they’re really nice and soft, almost like applying a cream instead of a powder. The colours are very natural, however, I was slightly disappointed since I was expecting them to stand out just a little more. It’s also quite difficult creating a look using all of the colours as they tend to blur together. Most days I just use 2 colours and I’m good to go. Overall this palette is good, but I wouldn’t repurchase, especially since it’s quite expensive.
