I love this palette and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites. The Legendary Muse is a limited edition quad featuring pinks and golds. This palette was designed to give you a subtle angelic dreamy glow.
I also own The Vintage Vamp which contains a lovely deep plum. If I want to add contrast, I use The Vintage Vamp and The Legendary Muse together because they coordinate beautifully. However, I don’t need to wear a smoky eye every day and I think the Legendary Muse is sufficient on its own for a soft, golden, shimmery look.
The colors in this palette are very flattering on me (I wear Fair 2 in her foundations). The shadows are amply pigmented, apply smoothly, and are easy to blend. The “Pop” glitter shade is tapped on with a fingertip. I like to wear all four shades together but I’ve also worn the bright gold Enhance shade as a one-and-done. The shadows hold up well over the course of my day. I’m really happy with my purchase. If you want a quad with more contrast or containing darker tones, I recommend The Dolce Vita and The Sophisticate.

I’m another fan of this rather unique palette. I call the shades unique because they are all lighter and mid-tone yellow golds and rose golds (see the stock photos I uploaded), in fact they look rather warm in the pans, but they work like a charm on my cool leaning NW15 skin tone and my grey green eyes! When I first saw the pictures of the Legendary Muse palette I instantly thought it’s a pass for me, but I received this item as a gift so I thought I might as well use it. And I have definitely used it a lot since I discovered it looks so pretty on! The shadows are shimmery and they blend like a dream, yet they have literally zero fallout during the day and make my eye color stand out very nicely. I highly recommend this item, it gives a beautiful glow and yet it is daytime appropriate, and I found it much more versatile than I expected. $52 and a total winner!

I really want to start this review by saying that for so many people out there, this palette may be a miss because the colours are all quite similar and the palette is NOT smokey – I have seen as much in the reviews and comments about this palette but for me personally? I could not miss this. I missed out on the look in a palette and I decided no, I am not going to miss out on this one because I am the girl that hates the dark colours in palettes. When it comes to creating smoke, I prefer to use light shades and then smoke some liner across my lid – hooded eyes here…I find that looks better on me personally (and my blending skills suck).
Packaging of this palette is covered in cute little stars on the front…adorable. The colours are golds, rose golds and a beautiful gilded gold pop colour – as most of the reviews for Charlottes palettes will attest, the quality is lovely. No fallout, beautiful colour payoff and easy to blend.

– It’s expensive but very much worth it.
I know i’ll use this often which is how I can justify such a splurge, I don’t reach for things that take a ton of effort to use and need amazing blending skills or cleaning up under my eyes after I’ve applied.
This palette will work for me in every season and it’ll go with pretty much everything.
Simply put: I love it and I am glad that I took the jump and bought another of her palettes (already own dolce vita which is more evening less daytime for me personally). I get that this isn’t going to be for some girls, but if you’re like me and look for the same things i look for… you will love this. Get it!!
