In my opinion one of the best shadows by MAC. A white with translucency and a sheen rather than a full chunky frost. Buildable in the ideal way for such a colour. Great for layering over other shades too, strategically. Pigment never turns to a dull grey and stays on. Good over neutral base of choice mine being Soft Ochre. Hugely flattering on my warm NC40ish skin without being tacky…surprising with such a name. It “wakes up” eyes like no other.
I was determined to buy a frosty white after reading several books by Rae Morris in which she explicitly says NOT to. Not a huge fan of the looks she ends up with, so I thought what she hated would likely work for me … and it did.

I’m stuck between this and Crystal Avalanche I own both as I like white shadows. On my pale skin they work on me. I like this mainly for my inner eye and I like to blend it into my crease. It gives whatever shade I use there a nice sheen and tones down the colour. I also find it works on my brow bone. This shade is dupeable obviously but I like how this blends it’s very smooth and buttery. If you have Crystal Avalanche you don’t really need this or vise versa. If you like white shadows this is a good one to have. Works well with my colouring NW20, blonde hair, green eyes. This is my favorite to make my eyes look bigger.

My fave white eyeshadow!! I collect them. I wear this w black eyeliner on top & bottom solo & use it for Cupid’s bow as well. I happen to think that white eyeshadow on its own is fresh & pretty! This white is a frosty white but not OTT. Very pretty & I’ve had it forever & still not hit pan yet. It’s not so frosty that you can’t wear it during the day. I pair the white eyeshadow (on lid only) w black eyeliner, black mascara, foundation/powder, & a lipgloss like Lust lipglass or Oh Baby or Prrr for example. It’s just casual but fun. I’ve been doing my eyeshadow like that forever but not every single day because I own a ton of e/s so other than the white e/s combo or the other few MAC e/s I own I don’t do my makeup exactly the same way twice in a row rarely. When I am running late for time I will do the foundation/powder/black eyeliner/black mascara, lipliner-lipglass/& MAC White Frost for a fun youthful look. White e/s is surprisingly wearable alone although most women eschew it solo but the trick is to keep it only on your lid not go up even much higher than the very lowest part of the crease. If I want it to be a little brighter I will use NYX Milk or NYX white e/s base under White Frost. This color is fairly straight forward: it’s white & it’s slightly frosty. It looks classy not cheap nor trashy. Mac did a really good job w this. If you want a white glitter Bomb go for Mac pressed pigments in Angelic or chanel Fantasme. This is more of a sheen than out right frost on me. The glitter is minimal if that sounds disappointing the other 2 i rec will take care of that issue 🙂 idk how I got started wearing white e/s all by itself, I kno it sounds weird but try it once or twice! It really makes your eyes pop & brings out the color of all different eye colors. White Frost comes in standard Mac singles packaging & is a staple for me. Yes I will repurchase 🙂

This is the best white eyeshadow there is. Color payoff is excellent, texture is great, long lasting. As a “white frost” it is just that. That said, I have NC30 skin tone & don’t find myself reaching for this much as its just too white & obvious, shroom is much better ON ME. But I rated the product for what it is & not what looks best on me, if you want a white frost shadow, this is perfect.

White Frost is the first MAC eyeshadow I ever bought and I still haven’t hit pan on it. I like to use it for a cupids bow on my lips and inner corner. I wish this would last on my waterline but it doesn’t. I wouldn’t repurchase because I like using the NYX jumbo eyeshadow in Milk for my inner corner more and when I run out of this I want to try a different MAC shadow, like Brule or Nylon.

I LOVE this eyeshadow. I’m actually close to hitting pan, which is very unusual for me even with MAC products. It’s the perfect highligt color that can be used on browbone, inner corners and so forth. I will even use it on the lid to brighten my eye up. The texture is very buttery, and the shadow can be applied carefully or you can build it up to be more dramatic white. The MAC packaging has the sexy black case and flimsy clear lid. I would love if they made this in a cream formula. I will def. buy again!

A frosty, slightly off-white shade. Lovely as a “formal” brow, inner corner, middle of the lid, and even cupid’s bow highlight color for light-medium complexions. Nice pigmentation and payoff as well. Haven’t tried Nylon and all those highlight goodies yet, but this one does the job beautifully. When I get darker than NC35 though (i.e. in summer) it starts to look icy and odd, even on places where it usually makes the most sense, like on the browbone. Gets four lippies because it’s a little too shimmery for my taste, meaning it’s more like something I would use a few times a year, as I normally go for more subtle highlight colors. However it was a satisfying purchase overall. Recommended for specific target groups for maximum natural-but-glam results.

An ideal highlighter shade for both the brow bone and inner corners of the eye. I find it to be buttery and blendable, and very pigmented without looking like a stark white. The shimmer is subtle, and keeps the colour from looking chalky, in my opinion (like matte whites can!). I also using it for lighting up dark shadows as needed, and blending harsher colours together. I’ve also used it previously as a highlighter on cheekbones, which worked just fine. I don’t always gravitate towards MAC’s frost shadows, but I always keep this in my collection. Recommend!

Love this white frosty shadow. Texture is buttery and easy to apply and blend. works great as a BAM highlighter on the browbone if you use it with a light touch.

This is my second go to highlight shade my first is mac’s nylon. It’s a nice white shimmery shade goes good with any eyeshadow. I’m an NC 35 for reference.
