   This eye shadow is great! Perfect for oily lids. Stays in place, no creasing or smudging. Even without primer (halelujah). And the colours are so beautiful: you can apply them with a light hand in a very sheer/natural way, or layer for a more intense look. I have colours 6, 9 and 27 (I have hazel eyes) and these look fantastic, but will be buying more quite soon.

   I’ve really gotten into liquid and cream eyeshadows because they’re quick and easy to apply, and look great on aging eyes. I have many from several brands, but I have to say that this is the best. When they dry down, they really look like like a second skin–in a good way. The tube with doefoot applicator is so convenient to use (and carry, if you wish), and the product is almost mousselike, which makes it a dream to apply. It’s easy to vary your look (and the intensity and shimmeriness) with one shade by the amount you apply, or by applying a thin layer to the lid and adding a bit more in the crease. I use an opaque base (MAC Paint Pot in Painterly or Soft Ochre) and apply a thin layer of this to the lid from lashes to just above the crease. Add liner and mascara and you’re done. Once this shadow dries down (it doesn’t take long, but there’s enough time to blend), it will not move. All day. It will look perfectly fresh 12 hours after you apply it, even in heat and humidity. I first got a sample of this in Gold Ashes (a beautiful, lightly shimmery, subtle gold) and then bought Cold Copper (9), which is a beautiful, slightly coppery, cool light brown (great everyday shade). I just got Flannel (8), a gorgeous complex pink/mauve/grey that’s a real chameleon. These are pricey, but they last forever, are so easy to apply, look great, wear incredibly well, and the shades are truly unique–I don’t think any of them could be duped. If you can splurge, want to simplify and shorten your eye routine (to me, they’re worth the price just for that), and are tired of the same old shadow colors, give these a try. You won’t be disappointed.

   Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this yet. I started out with buying several colors, but the lighter ones (Rose Ashes, a couple of others) had too much gleam for my aging eyes (Kudos for Nordstrom for having an awesome return policy–makes spending $$$ for one ES easier). I ended up with two permanent favs, Flannel (it’s pinky-mauve with a grey tone and morphs into one of those universally flattering shades IMHO) and Senso ( it lists as a bronzy brown but there’s some plum in there), and a sometimes fav for a deep eyeliner although it’s one of the ESs, Obsidian. With Flannel on the lid to brow and Senso blended from outer eye up past crease, it’s a flattering, subtle shimmery look that wears like iron once it dries, and the mousse-y texture gives you enough time to blend the way you want it. This is amazing for RGP contact lens wearers, too…non-irritating and it doesn’t take much, if any pressure to apply (I had to re-home some LM caviar sticks for that reason). I apply with the doe foot applicator and gently blend out with fingers. I can apply in the morning and by 6:00 PM it’s still in place with minimal, if any creasing. This is amazing as although I’m over 60 my eyelids continue to be an oil slick. The shimmer is light enough so I don’t feel it’s emphasizing crepeiness and to me, it all has a more-or-less blurring effect.

   One con: it is a liquid so it goes in the TSA bag, OTOH, even though I love palettes, these and one MAC four ES palette (matte) is all I need while traveling.

   Cakey instantly and I’m only 25. Makes my eyelids look 55. And it made my eye swollen, must have some unpleasant ingredients because makeup typically doesn’t irritate me. Furthermore not the most hygenic design, a squeeze tube is better than wand, less bacteria gets in. Very important for eyes.

   After having these eyeshadows on my wish list for years, I caved in and splurged for 2 shades.
   To my eye, these are extremely expensive: 35 Euros for one single eyeshadow? It’s’ crazy (for that price you generally buy a palette or a high-end duo eyeshadow).
   However it is Armani, the reviews were raving about and I needed to try this formula.
   So I bought it, and I am now the proud owner of shade # 5 ONYX (a muted green with golden tones ) and #10 Cold Copper.
   The formula is great; it is wet and gives you a fresh/wet feeling on the eyelids when you apply. The color payoff is OK but not to rave about, because I must say one swipe is not enough to show up, you need to blend (and she intensity fades) and you have to re-apply on top in order you can see the pigment.
   This is not bad, unless you are in a hurry, as it takes its time to blend and set. The shades once set are truly beautiful, on the metallic side but truly luminous; the final result is very polished and elegant. It’s Armani…
   Once it sets, it stays on quite well. It creases a bit, but it depends on how oily/watery your eyelids are; on me it strangely creases only on 1 lid, therefore I blame it on my eyelids and not on the eyeshadow itself!!
   Other people claim that these Eye Tints stay put all day long and this is what was looking for; however I do find that other lon-wear eyeshadows like the Eyes To Kill stays put forever (18 solid hours) on me and no creasing at all!

   I have to say that I am satisfied because all in all these are beautiful shades to wear, and I gave 4 stars, however I would have expected perhaps a bit more performance for the super high price tag, in the sense that it should be more pigmented (you need 2 coats to make it show) and easier to apply.

   Why is it that the products I love so much are also the most expensive?
   I like the idea and convenience of liquid to powder eyeshadows (anyone else remember the ones from Cover Girl way back in the day?)
   Thankfully, Armani’s shades aren’t so bold and vibrant but muted. There are the shades with a shimmer finish as well as matte. I prefer the shimmer finish as I find they work best with powder eyeshadows.
   I got #9 (cold copper) and #11 (rose ashes) for everyday neutral look that would work well with the powder shadows in my collection.
   Cold Copper is just that – a cool light copper and Rose Ashes is a beautiful pink/gold.

   Both shades are subtle and I apply a couple of layers for some depth of colour on my NC30 skin tone.
   I’ll pair cold copper with MAC’s Tempting, Antiqued or UD Toasted.
   I like pairing rose ashes with MAC’s Mythology or Expensive Pink and I think it would work with UD FireBall. (this would be great for the summer)
   The shimmer is subtle and not over the top. (NYX’s Lid Lingerie is decent but that shimmer is too much for my mature lids)

   Staying power is impressive with my eye primer regime. (Etude and MAC Layin’ Low paint pot)
   There’s no fading or creasing after a long 12 hour day.
   Removal is easy with my regular eye makeup remover.

   In my years of wearing and buying makeup, I think it’s worth spending the money on products you love and will wear regularly instead of buying colours that just sit and collect dust because they’re on the so so list.
   So yes, if you’re wanting to splurge and know that you’ll love using these eye tints regularly, definitely take a look at Armani’s eye tints.

   I wish I didn’t like this product as much as I do! A bit pricey, but it wears like iron and has decent drying time allowing you to blend it out on your eyelids. I have this in Obsidian (blackened gunmetal grey) and use it for a smoky eye over LM eye caviar stick in Rose Gold and NARS AAE eyeshadow, using an eyeshadow brush. The sponge-tipped doefoot applicator would deposit too much product on my lids, but maybe it wouldn’t be an issue with a neutral and more foolproof highlighter shade. I could get away with skipping eyeliner, but I line my eyes anyways for a bit more definition.

   I also tried a sample size of Gold Ashes and it seemed more glittery and sheer, but it may have been because the pigment settled at the bottom of the mini tube, as I didn’t have that problem with the full-sized Obsidian eye tint that I purchased. I could see the full-sized product lasting a LONG time, but I would consider repurchasing when I run out.

   I am by no means a pro at applying makeup. I just want something easy and quick and be out the door. Due to that i thought I wouldn’t be able to apply these properly because I thought it would be time consuming and too much maintenance. BOY WAS I WRONG! These have become very quickly my e/s of choice for these 2 months. I have them in:

   5 = Green with silver sheen. I use it for my crease and liner, and sometimes on my mobile lid.
   7 = Purple with grey tones. I use it for my crease and liner.
   9 = Copper. All over wash of colour.
   10 = Brown with purple sheen. I use it for my crease and liner.
   11 = Champagne with pink sheen. All over wash of colour.

   All of them are metallic but they are all extremely wearable during the day to work. I’ve worn them all (not all at once of course) to work and i work in an office environment. It looks very subtle when applied lightly and can be deepened for night outs.

   This is literally smudgeproof and foolproof. I apply this with a synthetic brush (the GA one) and just use my fingers to blend out / sheer out more. This lasts me the ENTIRE day without creasing!

   I’m in love with these!

   I waited a long time to purchase one of these although I swatched them in Nordie’s when they first came out. I was hesitant because of the price, which is steep @ $38 dollars each. Well, I had to finally crack and purchased the shade “Green Iron”. In a nutshell, it is awesome. There is a learning curve to application, but once you get the hang of it, it is easy. The shape of the applicator is like a dos foot, thus you can apply it as an eyeliner or a full on wash of color on the lid. The consistency is alittle thin but builadable. I applied with the included wand but finished with my fingers. You only have a minute or two before it dries and sets, but once it dries, it doesn’t budge and stays perfect all day. The finish on Green Iron is a lovely metallic finish- complex metallic and a beautiful olive green with some gold. I love it. I used it all over my lid and crease and used the lightest shade in UD Naked Basics 2 as a highlighter. It stayed intact literally all day with no creasing. I used Smashbox primer as a base. The color looks beautiful in direct sunshine and shade. I just wish it wasn’t so costly, thus the “4” rating. I will definitely purchase a few more when Sephora has a discount. Next I’d like Senso or Cold Copper. Armani also releases LE shades in these as well that are quite beautiful, but due to my budget, I need to purchase staple colors. Love love love these and wild highly recommend them.

    I purchased the color Senso which is a beautiful plummeted bronze that makes my blue/green eyes stand out. I was not planning on buying this shadow at the counter but was very happy with the color and the finish which I would describe as a sophisticated slight shimmer. I can use this color as a one and done. I like to take a flat synthetic brush to use it as a soft liner and then take the color up and out into the crease in a soft V. Then I switch brushes and blend with my MAC 217 so it is soft. I find that this formula gives me just the right amount of playtime before it sets. When I say it sets I mean it really freaking sets to stay put all day. I just take a little of my bronzer after applying to my cheeks on my 217 diffuse slightly and it looks like I spent a lot more time on my makeup than I did. I love this product and look forward to trying more shades.
