This is one of my favorite non-neutral colors! I have brown eyes, and NC20 olive skin, and this looks very nice on. I think this would fit many people, and those with brown eyes should definitely try it! I don’t need primer with this, but if I want a more vibrant color, I do use the 24h Prep+Prime Eye Primer from MAC.
The color of this is a mid-brown base with teal shimmer particles. It’ a very easy color to use: you can apply it sheer, and it will be brown, and it can be built up, which reveals the teal. Because of the way this is made, this can be totally day-appropriate, but can also be built up to a party look. This shadow blends well, and is easy to build. I often use it as a one-and-done color – because of the brown base, I don’t really need a transition color with this, which makes this very convenient. Very, very convenient product to have, and very worth checking out! 🙂

One of my favorite singles.. I love creating a look using Club from MAC, along with Mildew by UD.. MAC satin shadows are consistently amazing. This shade works so well on my N25, neutral skin tone, and just blends so well.. I can see this shade working on nearly every skin tone, and will take on a green to brown shift depending on application, and what it’s paired with..Definitely recommend.

Club is a pretty cool eye shadow, and for a while there was nothing at all like it on the market. Nowdays dupes (and even better versions) are a dime a dozen, but the original still holds a somewhat special place in my eyeshadow-loving heart. I like that it can be sheered out to a warm brown wash with just a hint of green shift or layered/built up to be more intense. I think I mainly keep it out of nostalgia now, but it is still cool to have.
For my shades I was actually using POPSicles Blue from Gucci Lovelies and I decided to use the texture quality over the red patch from their Bra Tribute brand. This is a cream based face liner, so it has a harder toning material, lighter shade of rose. The following details need work:
I decided to use Georgette Pencil and blended it in with out breaking down into that shimmery waxy tone. Now I like a muted concealer such as Panache & Kim’s, but it has got to be a bit more than that.
I’ve also mixed two shades of Ginseng Rush (so full of color), but they are bulky and too light. So I opted for American No. 6 or Fekizies Goldmine in bronze.
To give the bases a little more texture, I applied my blush in an extra heavy piece of loose glitter/mushroom mask. These pigments are as thick and pretty as the base and are dense, almost powdery.
So if you haven’t read these posts already, you’re probably thinking, “So say you’ve recently decided that your skin has tried different creams/profiles over the last month or so and you like but hate them. You want the chance to try new things, but hate using this to stick with which product you liked.”
I went back and bought a pink eye shadow with Pomona who ended up using it on her new Korean Beauty Boy and it worked amazing. She also says the same thing with Chocolate Angels.
So with my final kinks in mind, there were 3 shades for me that did want to try but didn’t really like. I picked Annie Pinham in silver with Roaltone, a light green with Bo Soo and a green pearl.
About the base shade I used Dark Blues. I wanted this to be a slightly matte shade with her eyes a touch bolder and flatter than I’d been expecting. I used Cranberry Quartz that blended it well and for my fuller blends it worked really well.
A finished product that didn’t quite fit in my palette for my texture profile. I also wanted an amazing black matte eye shadow with POPSicles Blue. I was looking for something more neutral and a little more diamondic but for my eyes I chose John Green (does it really not look right in your center? the lip color/

God I love this eyeshadow. I’m already on my second and will repurchase when this one runs out. It’s just such a beautiful unique colour and great for a night out. Even if you’re shit at applying makeup this one shadow will make it look like you know what you’re doing. Just apply and blend! I’ve been using it over constructivist paintpot and blending a little cranberry into the crease. It’s also a great pair with satin taupe. Buy it you won’t be disappointed

I love it. I usually wear it on the lid up to the start of my crease smoked out.
I have semi-hooded eyes and when I wear it, I somehow look more exotic (not sure how to describe it) and elegant…
I wear it during daytime.

This is my absolute favorite eyeshadow I’ve ever used! I have bright blue eyes and pale, cool skin and this color just seems to make my eyes POP! I use a light-colored eyeshadow all over my lid and then add Club to the otter corner of my eye and in the crease a little. It is a beautiful color that is turquoise, green, brown, grey-ish.. really hard to explain and I think it is different on everyone. I started wearing this color in about 2010 and I just bought my second pot, so it lasts quite a long time.

I REALLY wanted to love Club, especially since most of my dark colors are matte. I just couldn’t pull it off. It looked weirdly turquoise on me which just didn’t work with my pale skin tone. Club made my deep set eyes look deeper, tired, and somehow bruised? Reminded me of the makeup look I rocked in junior high 🙂 I was hoping it would pull more of the hunter green I’ve seen on others. I do love this color on other people though! Would make an interesting smokey eye. Pigmentation was good, and it was easy to blend.

My staple eyeshadow! It is hard to describe the shade, and this is what makes it so great, so unique, and so subtle. When applied, it looks green, grey and brown combined. It has subtle shimmers, which make it versatile and easy to work with. I often use it on its own, but it also works well as a transition shade. It’s multi-chromatic quality in fact makes it a go-to transitition to brighter shades not only of green, grey and brown, but even of purple, blue, and crimson. It really deserves more recognition. I have very sensitive eyelids, but thankfully, it does not react in any way to this.
Of course I will repurchase. I am never out of this shade.

On the nice side, the colour is amazing and unique.
On the ugly side, it contains IRRITANT ingredient: BISMUTH OXYCHLORIDE.
Yes ladies, if you are experiencing eyelid bumps, itchyness, driness of the eyes, ezcema or any type of allergic reaction… this is what is causing it. This ingredient all together is not good for use around the eyes due to its properties.
I bought this years ago and threw it out as it irritated my eyes. Someone just asked me for an opinion on a MAC eyeshadow which prompted me to leave this review.

Right, I LOVE this shadow.
I was looking for a shade that I could use to create an everyday subtle smokey eye with, and I stumbled across Club on MAC’s site. I wanted a grey shade, but all of them seemed too true and I felt that with my pale skin and green eyes, they would look too cold and flat. On the site, Club looks like an incredibly subtle olive green grey, is listed as a satin, and MAC describes it as “red-brown with green pearl”. It wasn’t until I did some more searching that I understood its multifaceted nature and decided to try it out – IT.IS.GORGEOUS.
It’s an extremely fine powder, soft in texture, so easy to blend, and I get no fallout. Only thing I would mention is that if you’re trying to achieve a look that sees the colour look exactly as it does in the pan, you’re going to need to pack it on. This doesn’t bother me in the slightest as I was looking for a subtle look… On me, it turns out as a multi-dimensional satin almost reddish taupe-y colour. It catches the light beautifully and its gently green shine is so gorgeous and understated. It’s easy to blend, layer, and control – I just cannot get enough of it!
As for packaging, it’s MAC’s usual sleek little pot, and price? Well, I think £13 is a bit much for a single shadow but considering how much I love it, I’ll definitely be re-purchasing no matter the cost. Absolutely stunning.
