I wanted an alternative to my old stand-by neutral “Nutty” which I wear on a daily basis and love like no other shadow. Mesmerized is a deep plum/purple with a satin sheen to it but I’m not that impressed with the color when applied with a brush or fingertips. It loses the depth that you feel when you look at it in the packaging which makes me sad because I was looking forward to this shade against my blue/green eyes. It swatches way better than it applies to the eyelids. I love WnW products but this one didn’t do it for me.
