   I’m really on the fence about this one. I had it in the shade ‘Nude Linen’ and whilst I didn’t think it was the worst cream eye shadow I’ve ever used, it wasn’t the best either. The colour was really bland; it didn’t really show up on my eyelids, although it did help to cancel out any redness. It also worked well as a base for powder shadows, although I had to use a primer underneath it as without one it had a tendency to settle into creases and slowly disappear. It dried down quickly too and layered fairly well with other shadows. Lastly the applicator (typical small doe foot) was easy to use. All that said, I never found myself reaching for it as ultimately, I just wasn’t that keen on the colour and found the product a bit too ‘blah’ for me.

   I’m never without a backup of this in “nude rose” I use it as eyeliner under my eye rather than a heavy eyeliner. This color matches most every shade of eyeshadow I wear and is so easy to blend out at the edges. It gives me a soft but defined eye and lasts all day. I can only find online at Ulta.

   I have back ups of these even tho i dont use daily. these hold up for the long haul when i use w primer. i think if this was sold at sephora it would be highly talked about. i havent seen them in store but order direct from elf which may be why there arent as many reviews. these and the nyx matte ones are a big part of my eye looks. If you use a stiff brush i do think yiu can create more than a one and done look. I have all the shades. I have also used as a base with pan and loose powders and created more complex looks..douchromes etc. I love them because they are very long lasting.

   I have “Nude Linen,” a cool-to-neutral deep beige that’s just a hair deeper than my NW15 skin. I like Nude Linen as a “no-eyeshadow” eyeshadow,” since it adds a little subtle dimension and evens out my lids without really looking like makeup.
   For me, “Nude Linen” from upper lashline to just above crease + tightline with dark brown liner + dark brown mascara = done.
   My only complaint is that Nude Linen starts to feel a bit greasy on my very oily lids after several hours, but topping it with translucent blotting powder helps with that.
   Nude Linen applies smoothly and feels weightless on bare lids, leaving a satin-matte finish that looks neither dry nor shiny. Packaging is attractive and sturdy, though not “luxurious.” This is a good, serviceable, inexpensive product from a cruelty-free company, and I’ll buy it again when the time comes unless I happen upon something even better.

   I have this in Nude Linen. It applies really creamy, dries down quickly and smoothly, and doesn’t crease, even on my oily hooded lids. It’s very “my lids but better” natural.

   Where has this product been my whole life? I have dry, flaky, vein-y eyelids, and no concealer has worked for me. I have tried countless high end “hydrating” and “moisturizing” concealers for my eyelids, but all they did was highlight the dry, flaky skin. I bought this product with very low expectations, and it is amazing. AMAZING. For the first time in about 10 years my eyelids look completely normal and hydrated. I can’t believe it. I bought Nude Linen, and it is the perfect base shade to even out my eyelids. It goes on very wet and dries completely matte. This product is so great I went back to Target the same day and literally bought 10 more. The best part? On sale for $2!!!

   I bought this shade in Nude Linen in the spring and lived in it all summer long. My eyelids tend to eat makeup, but this stays put, doesn’t crease and doesn’t feel heavy. It works as a good base color on its own or as part of a multi shadow eye.

   Offered in four nude shades to complement individual skin tones:

   Soft Beige: Peach
   Blushing Rose: Pink/mauve
   Nude Linen: Neutral Cool/Taupe
   Brown Cashmere: Cool dark brown

   This is not a product for creating complicated eye looks, but it excels as part of a “schmear and go” makeup day, especially if you choose the correct “nude” shade for your skintone. I use this when I don’t have the time (or inclination) to do a full makeup, but still want to look “polished.”

   Working with one eye at a time, I use the doefoot applicator to cover my lid with the product, then use a flat nylon concealer brush to even it out and blend it up slightly above the crease. If I need a second coat, I wait until the first coat is dry before applying.

   Although I own all four shades. Soft Peach is the color which most closely matches my skintone, hence it is the one I use most often (just bought a second tube, as a matter of fact). The peach undertones enhance my blue eyes, and while using this product requires a minimum investment of time, does make it appear I put a bit of effort into looking “finished.”

   I purchased Brown Cashmere with the intention of using it as a crease color, but as noted above, this is not a product that lends itself to precise placement. While Brown Cashmere is a great nude lid color for POC, if you’re lighter-skinned and really want to define your crease after applying one of the other shades to your lid (and after it has dried thoroughly), just reach for your favorite pressed powder shadow and use that. It will be far quicker and easier than trying for a precise application with the darkest shade of this product.

   Definitely a “hit” for E.L.F., and proof positive those who eschew all “drugstore” makeup brands are wrong when they insist across the board “You get what you pay for!”

   Note: I did not address whether this product creases or fades. That is because I *always* prep my lids with a thin coat of M.A.C.’s Paint Pot in “Painterly” – even on days I don’t wear any other eyeshadow. This may affect the wear time/propensity for creasing of any shadow I apply. Over a base of the M.A.C. Paint Pot, I experienced absolutely no creasing of this product, and it wore all day with no fading.

   I’ve never tried a matte liquid eyeshadow before, and I wasn’t sure I would like it.

   But I do. I really do.

   I bought this in Nude Linen to use as a base shade on the daily. I swatched it in my hand and went…meeeeh, this looks like a badly matched foundation. But on my eyes? Dreamy.

   I put this on up to my socket using the doe foot applicator it comes with (sort of hard and scratchy) then softly blended out the edges using ELF’s concealer brush. I have to watch it while it dries or it does gather in my crease because I have hooded eyes. It definitely gives you enough time to blend it out but it doesn’t stay wet forever either.

   It dries into a smooth finish that looks really sophisticated and classy. I have some scarring on one lid that makes eyeshadow look patchy over it (even with primer) but this covered it really well.

   The shade I choose – Nude Linen – looks soft, subtle, and beautiful as a nude single color look, but it also layers well with other shadows on top. I deepened above my crease with a matte taupe and put a shimmery champagne on my visible lid, and it was so pretty and easy.

   I haven’t tried two of these colors together (because I only have one), but I will repurchase more shades in the future to give it a try.

   Like all of ELF’s eyeshadows this lasts for a long time on me. Personally, I wear it over ELF’s lid primer because it never does my oily lids wrong.
