I got this as part of the build your own 24-pan palette, and this one by far my least favorite of the colourpop shadows I have. Its the only one I actively dislike and I just don’t see myself ever using it. The problem is the formula – it’s flaky and hard to apply. For example if you do a finger swatch on your arm, you will get this patchy stripe of something that is between glitter and shimmer, with no base color showing, and on your finger is a beautiful opaque layer of the color that you wish you could get on your eye :p In theory it could be a topper but it doesn’t really have enough binders to stick on top of another powder shadow. The other 23 colors in my palette are wonderful, as well as the other pre-made palette I got, so I do love and recommend colorupop eyeshadows, just not this shade.

This is a fine pressed golden glitter with a peachy base – you won’t see the base unless you really pack this on. When I apply this with a packing brush, I actually only get a sheer wash of gold glitter. To make this opaque, you will need a glitter base for sure. It’s a topper color more than anything else, IMO. I actually quite like it, as I like to warm up my eyeshadow looks and add some sparkle… but it’s not the easiest shadow to use, which is why I deduct a lippie. I still like it though, but it sure isn’t for everyone, and you would probably be disappointed if this was your first Colourpop eyeshadow
You can buy these as only a pan or with a little box. The box is cute, with a max size mirror. The box is useful for those wanting to only bring a couple eyeshadows around, but I wish Colourpop would make some empty 4-6 shadow palettes, as that would be much more useful to me personally
