I’ve had this product for a while, and have tried to love it and make it work, but I just can’t. It can barely remove Maybelline’s Great Lash mascara, let alone Benefit’s own They’re Real mascara. To top it all off, this remover burns like the fiery pits of hell. It feels like I have taken a scouring pad to my eyeballs. It is absolutely not worth $31 AUD.

This only gets one star because it WILL remove your makeup, but that’s about all I can say for it. It’s a terrible product overall. If you’re going to wear BeneFit’s They’re Real mascara, this will make quick work of removing it…much more so than liquid eye makeup remover. However, it burned my eyes in a way that actually felt like I’d put crushed red pepper flakes or jalapeno juice in them. If you’ve ever sliced jalapenos and then touched your eye, you know that ‘type’ of burning feeling – except this was worse. I’ve never had a product sting my eyes quite that badly. Also, I found the packaging to be a bit odd for a makeup remover…it’s easy to overdo it on the product when it’s in a squeeze tube and you only need a small amount. I promptly returned this to Ulta (along with the They’re Real mascara – another big bummer). For the price, this product should have been a whole lot of creamy goodness, not glorified pepper spray.

A bad purchase. For A$25.00- boo!!
Doesn’t remove eyeliner, instead gives you a panda eye after putting it on.
Worst purchase ever.
