I have a very sensitive acne prone skin. It has been a struggle to find a good eye/ lip make up remover that doesn’t sting my eyes, doesn’t feel oily and doesn’t leave weird red bumps on my skin around the eyes and lips. This product is lightweight, mildly fragrant, doesn’t sting eyes, leaves a clean non-oily feeling and is good for sensitive skin. You require less product for good cleansing compared to many other products I have tried. Dab on some product on a cotton pad and leave on eyes/lips for a few seconds and you can remove the makeup in one- three swipes. No rubbing needed. Great stuff!!! Definitely buying it again.

I absolutely love this product and I’m just disappointed that it takes so long for the stores here to restock. Majolica Majorca’s Lash King is notorious for being a life proof mascara that is really really difficult to remove so I was looking for a good eye make up remover that’s not irritating, not too heavy (I used to use johnson’s baby oil as eye make up remover), but does it’s job of getting rid of tough mascaras. I ran into the Face Shop and the SA told me that one of their best sellers is the Rice Water Eye and Lip Makeup Remover and so I took a leap of fatih and bought it without reading reviews.
At first I thought maybe it’s a miss. The consistency is too, well…. thin and watery. It has some kind of powder stuff that settles at the bottom, so you have to shake the bottle well before you use it. Maybe it’s the rice? I don’t know. Anyway, as usual, I would put the product in a cotton ball, or facial cotton and then put it on my eye and let it settle for about 5 seconds and then I wipe the make up off. Firstly, I looooove the smell. It smells like jasmine or japanese rice that has been washed for the first time, but a little more fragrant. Makes me feel nostalgic 🙂 Performance, it took me less than 5 wipes to get rid of my oh so tough lash king mascara on my sparse lashes. All the other eye make up removers that I’ve used even the heavier and oilier ones didn’t do the job very well. I have to wipe more than 5x and I actually get scared because sometimes I see a lash or 2 on the facial cotton and I swear it freaks me out because like what I said, I have sparse lashes and I don’t want to lose any more than what I already have. As for lip color, aside from the ease of removing the lip color, it doesn’t taste weird unlike other make up removers that taste bitter or has this chemical taste.
Overall, I really love this product and I would buy it again if only they would restock more often. I’d probably even hoard this stuff.

Finally, a makeup remover that I don’t hate! Not only does it remove even the most notoriously tenacious waterproof eye makeup (Benefit’s They’re Real mascara, KVD Tattoo liner, etc) efficiently, it smells nice, doesn’t irritate the skin, and doesn’t feel disgustingly greasy. Will definitely repurchase when I run out.

Removes eye makeup really well and it has the same pleasant smell as the rice cleanser. I find it to not be too oily ive tried at least 10 emr removers and this one is my favourite.

Already on my third bottle of this wonderful product! Was introduced (again) by a friend of mine. Unlike water based makeup remover (e.g bifesta ) it removes stubborn Mascara (fairy drops mascara, my favourite!) really well. Just a little removes everything from your lashes.
On a side note, its slightly oily so you may wanna be careful when removing makeup from your eyes. Also, the bottle is slightly smaller as compared to other brands. My make up style isn’t very heavy but 1 bottle usually last me 25 days to a month. Pricing wise, the online seller are definately cheaper than the retail stores in Singapore, price varies from SGD$9.00 (Online)~ SGD$19.90(Retail stores).

This makeup remover does a decent job of removing eye makeup including waterproof mascara. However, it takes double the amount of this product to do the same job of Lancome’s Bifical. The fragrance is pleasant and mild enough, however it should be noted that it has fragrance for those who prefer unscented products. Also the consistency is thin and messy. I find that when I saturate my cotton pad, I get runoff down my arm which is unpleasant. I tried using a smaller amount but found that I needed to resaturate my cotton to make it effective. It is gentle on the eyes although I agree with a previous reviewer that it leaves a film on the eyes which is unpleasant. This won’t be replacing my go to eye makeup remover and I will not repurchase.

I got this for less than S$10 off of Gmarket which is super cheap. Back to the product, it comes in a screw top plastic bottle as with most other eye makeup remover very easy to use and comes in a pretty pink bottle.
This is a 2 phase eye makeup remover, shake it and it becomes a milky colored liquid. The liquid is oily it feels watery and a bit powdery. I love this because it removes the infamous deja vu fiberwig mascara without any effort at all. No residual film at all too.
I’ll definitely buy this again once I’m done with my current bottle. Love it!!!

I was using loreal eye remover, but it doesn’t go well with my sensitive eyes so i decided to change. this FaceShop eye remover just caught my eye because it claims to brighten my eyes and have rice water. I heard so many review about rice water and i want to try it.
Pro :
+ mineral bases oil and rice water goes really well in my sensitive eye. I have no problem with this and bye-bye red eyes….
+ the smell is very light and so nice
+ it remove everything even the waterproof Mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow and everything (but you have to use so many cotton)
+ its not that pricey as Biotherm
Cons:
– Believe it or not I have a little bit problem with the packaging. It have a small opening, so i have to put extra effort to pour it in the cotton.
– It makes my eyes a little bit cloudy for a 5-10 second
– cant think of anything

I have the cream version one in the pale pink pump bottle. It removes all my makeup nicely and has a soft, pretty scent. I usually wet a cotton pad and spread a thin layer of the product evenly over it before wiping. Works great. I think it’s slightly pricey ($15) when I could get a Loreal makeup remover that works just the same, but it’s a nice indulgence for something that’s imported from Korea!

I LOVE this product also~!! It can removed the make up on my eye, even the mascara, like instantly without giving me an “oily” feeling on my eyes area~~!!
My sister also love this and we started to switch from Loreal to this one and we have been using like >3 bottles already~!
Definitely will purchase it again as the price is affordable yet the effect is GOOD! =)
