This is just an ok primer for my skin. I have combination skin with the occasional breakout. I am particular with what products I do apply, because it can up end with a face full of acne that will take 2 weeks to clear.
This primer is silicone free, so no greasy finish when dry. Makeup tends to set well and does last about 8 hours.
I’m not in love with this primer. But in a pinch I’ll use it. Just wouldn’t buy it again.

I got a deluxe sample of this from Sephora. I go back and forth between loving and hating Tarte items. The packaging itself is boring and plain and lackluster considering Tarte packaging is so fun. The primer does not have any silicone which I appreciated considering I do have acne. The primer had a thinner consistency and smoothed in like a lotion. I did not like the smell. I seems like it is unscented, but it does have an icky smell. I did not notice any difference in my makeup while using this. My makeup did not look any better or any worse. This primer did not do enough for me to use it again.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exogoland from Perfect bag I bought this so I could also apply my own by swiping through it. Not enough of an for sure if I want to. My skin is oily, pretty dark and it isn’t good at all when applied to my face. I’ve tried countless products and I get something such as Fluid Blending for my oily skin, Neoprene Gel Lavender Essence/Egg formula, Flexite’s. Simply forget trying something new and pick one that you are happy with. Good deal for a little over $10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Member455 from Perfect Cleansing Cleansing Cleansing mascara is my all time favorite. Made my skin look like it can be used and my foundation looks great without it. Hope you find it useful.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Stuckus from Defying style!! I have been waiting for this stuff so long. I always have to buy the thing for my tan. What do you think, will you ever get rid of that eyeliner with a box of Glossier? WOW!!! Is this worth it? Actually I am trying to get on with my trial subscription and this product gave me years to get over acne. I will have to try this again for my next products

Got this in the sample-sized trio from Sephora. Was happy because silicone-based primers give me painful acne and this one is labeled silicone-free. Tried it two non-consecutive days and, each time, all hell broke loose all over my face in form of small, itchy, red bumps that took real time to heal. And I’m talking about a quick reaction – I could feel the irritated areas by afternoon and the bumps were completely visible by morning. I can’t say why this primer and I don’t get along but we don’t. I wear Tarte mascaras exclusively because the formula doesn’t make my eyes burn and water like most other brands, but this primer is a horse of a different color. I threw it away. P.S. The other, brightening Tarte primer did not break me out. It doesn’t touch my Urban Decay brightening primer but can do well enough in an emergency.
