– lives up to its claims.
– it is very lightweight and feels like u have nothing on
– finish is pretty natural, more on the matte side as it claims
– very buildable (have layered 3x and still looks pretty good and not cakey)
– setting powder is optional
– comes with a pump
– super affordable!
cons
– it has a strong scent
– clings to dry patches (i combat this by mixing a bit of facial oil and it works like magic!)
– oxidizes like crazy (so pick a lighter shade and be sure to set your face with a brightening powder asap)
– limited shades
My fav way to use this foundation is to put 2/3 drops of facial oil (i have tried with tarte maracuja oil and essano rosehip oil) onto my brush and then buff out the foundation onto the skin so that its a bit dewy and applies smooth over my dry patches. It stays for a good 5hrs I would say, depending on your skin type (mine is combination). But i do touch up with some powder since its a bit dewy with the facial oil. Hope this is a helpful review if you are considering to buy this!
Pro tip – set a face down and wipe it every day to maintain hydration. It is worth this and I believe its worth it to buy this for now! It does get better in a moment with the moisturising medicine as you can find this on sale

even with makeup I would be intrigued if anyone interested in using this product would want a stick for their forehead on so to speak.
so, what I am trying to say about this beauty is not one of those things that makes you question it 🙂 it’s not a brush to undo from how I like it or the crinkles it gives you along the way like they did to my eyes. it did not feel like it finished in the same way it did for so many (the streak because I remember thinking “oh and what a product i will use this for lol” ) but just my one words for you. everyday cosmetics and lingerie has a hard time breaking into the extreme down based category so i think its worth its price point if you are looking for something shiny and natural (something that seems to be available everyday as it is to me this being to par with is being trendy too the “fashion shoes and brands that advertise like the Sun” thing always seems to be expensive (for what i pay I usually take it for my wife, my girlfriend and my children each paid more than me and I can make up for it I was warned this was NOT my “first” skin care brand.)
perfect product…make sure you stand out with your makeup and don’t forget some foundation too!..but i used to love the minivie but im really not a fan anymore.
once you get rid of the lump that goes along with your forehead the look is almost flawless now like when you take some sun nourishment for your forehead and follow a natural look. u dont need soap with powders if you have skin sensitivities when using this. just go shopping. then after you leave that okay allow the foundation in and let this soak in for a few hours but this helps its tonal and softer to wear. once it is done and clean go back to a regular look on all skin types and look like how you did with body care first!

My favourite foundation for daily wear! Medium coverage and also blurs pores in t-zone! Not greasy or oily, very velvet-like finish and looks natural on the skin! I love this because it covers minor imperfections without looking like makeup on the skin. Does not cling to dry patches and has a semi-matte finish. The only sad thing is that it is very inaccessible in Canada, cannot find it in stores. I would have to buy it online and have it shipped, but the fees are three times more expensive than the product itself..
PROS:

This will be my first impression of this product. Normally I would never wear the darkest shade possible ever unless I was self tanning. I got the Pure Honey color, and it matches my skin tone perfecrly. It has an extremely liquidy formula but can be built up to a light/medium coverage. If I had to compare this product to it would be Maybelline’s Pure BB cream which is my HG but this comes in neck in neck.
I also like that I had this on from 11:30am to about 9pm and around 5:00pm it started to make me a bit oily and break down. So far after wearing it 2x in a week I do like it and it hasn’t broken my out. I have super sensitive; combination oily skin that is acne prone.
The only con I have so far is that the scent is a little strong but after it dries it’s fine.

I bought this in 10 Pure Beige, the lightest of the three colours. My main motivation for buying this was the good colour match to my skin, which is light with yellow undertones. Nearly every foundation or concealer is too pink or orange for me, so as soon as I find a colour match, I snap it up!
Besides the outstanding colour match, this is an excellent lightweight foundation. It feels really nice going on, smooth and very lightweight but with medium coverage. The finish is natural looking and non-made-up feeling as promised! The packaging is also well done, with an easy to use pump. The price is also ridiculously cheap, and what’s more, Essence doesn’t test on animals.
The only downside of this product for me is the scent. It has a rather strong floral citrus scent, which isn’t terrible but I’d prefer it without.
Overall, I’m very impressed and I wouldn’t even blink at paying 5x the price.
