I have stocked up on this! I love the DNA swirl, because you can see you have your color mixing with the primer and some other skin helper – moisturizer? Except most of mine comes to me with the swirl “messed up” and mixing into the primer. But when you squeeze it with the pump applicator, it all mixes together, no stripes, and comes out like a mouusse. You might think because it is only 1/3 color, it will be super light, but it actually offers decent coverage. I use the color “tone” and it is a little orange when I put it next to my skin, but it applies perfect, and doesn’t look like I have tons of foundation on. Compared to One Step (not the green/purple, but the foundation) it is a lot lighter in weight, the one step was like a concealer, and often got cakey. Not sure how long lasting it is because I can’t keep my hands away from my face. Despite being a mineral makeup, I have not noticed any flashback, but then again I have not tested for this.

Picked this up really cheap from TK Maxx but didn’t expect much from it, I’d never even heard of the brand Stila before but now I’m kicking myself for not picking an additional one cause I absolutely love this foundation!
This foundation is super lightweight and is light coverage but buildable, maybe up to a medium base. It definitely wears true to skin to give that naked look which I welcome with open arms and even after building up, still looks so natural. Another reason I love this foundation is that it doesn’t cake at all or make me oily. I don’t usually set this with anything as it is my everyday/work foundation so I just add a bit of blush/highlight and I’m out. The product wears semi-matte on my skin and doesn’t cling on any dry spots on my skin. I haven’t been broken out wearing this and never needed to blot when wearing this which is obviously another reason for the 5 lipsticks rating 🙂
In terms of price…….well, I purchased mine out of TK Maxx for £6 BUT the Stila website is currently selling them on Clearance for £8.50 so definitely a place to look out for bargains, otherwise this retails quite high end!
I have purchased again and would definitely recommend for people who like lightweight, low coverage foundation to allow their skin to breathe!

I may have found my HG foundation. I bought this off a whim as it was reduced to £5 in boots, but I’m SO glad I tried it!!
Pros: My skin is pretty blemish free other than a few dry spots and some areas of redness, and the light gel texture is perfect for me. It sits very comfortably on my skin which is quite sensitive at the moment, and it hasn’t sunk into the dry spots at all. It has a dewy finish which I love. And it didn’t leave any streak marks or a cakey look.
cons: It was quite difficult picking the right colour as there were no testers and since it comes in a box I couldn’t really see what the colour was. The colour is slightly orange but personally I like it because although I’m mixed race I’m pale in the winter and this has made me look tan again!!
Will certainly buy again even at full price!!

Stila Perfect & Correct foundations give a light coverage and plump your skin. I used the Medium and Tone, sometimes blending both depending on my tan or lack thereof. If you need to cover small flaws, the perfecting concealer can give those areas full coverage. This does not have any SPF. It is pricey, but makes your skin look dewy and controls excessive sebum. Use if you have oily skin. Does not work well with dry or normal skin.

I’ve been using this foundation in “tone” for about 2 months and I do like this one.
It’s a nice, creamy texture and blends wonderfully with a Beauty Blender. It’s buildable too. It hasn’t made me breakout and my skin can be quite sensitive to foundation. The packaging is one of the best in the game. There’s zero waste and you can see exactly how much product is left.
I gave it 4 stars because it’s still pricy for the size ($57 CAD, 1oz). I will probably re-purchase.
EDIT: Well, It just doesn’t have the staying power that I hoped for. I use Chanel’s Poudre Universale to set the foundation but I can see the redness on my chin after 3 hours or so. This is ok for light coverage.

Quality, low-stress foundation for those without major skin issues and are seeking light coverage to even out the face and give a nice finish. Despite the “buildable” coverage advertised, full coverage is unlikely to be achieved without using an obscene amount of product, but that’s not really what this product is designed to do anyway.
I found application easy enough with fingers, brushes, and sponges. The gel consistency is a breeze to work with compared to other, heavier paint-like liquid foundations, such as MAC Studio Fix and EL Double Wear. I found application more similar to applying a TM or BB cream. Also, this foundation gives a nice dewy finish that doesn’t get greasy throughout the day. Lasting power is not amazing on its own, but stayed on just fine when used in conjunction with primer and setting spray.
Because I am very fair and cool-toned, the lightest shade pulled too yellow on me. For this reason I won’t be buying this product again, but if the color range expands, I’ll give it another shot.

This is my current HG foundation for light coverage.
Firstly, the packaging is excellent. The air tight pump is very hygienic and the bottle itself is lightweight-great to take on the go. The product itself has a mousse texture, and when you apply it on your face it has a nice cooling/calming sensation.
Coverage is light and I’d say it builds up to at most light to medium without being cakey.
Longevity is the best!!! Lasts on my combination skin for the longest time and doesn’t leave dry patches.
Will repurchase.

This is just an ok foundation IMO. Looks a little too dry on my skin however longevity was quite good (8 hours).

I fell for the swirls in the packaging and like that you can see how much is left in the bottle with the retractable pump feature – yes shallow I know 🙂
The coverage is good and buildable but at most – medium. Colour match for my NC15 skin is ” Fair” which has a yellow tone. I like the gel like consistency, this foundation wears well and lasts the day easily with powder to set.
Two pumps are plenty and after experimenting I have found the best way to apply is a slightly dampened flat top brush.
As I live in NZ where makeup is expensive I cant give the price a good rating. I bought mine from BeautyBay. I probably would not repurchase again but only because I have so many foundations already and others I like more.
The swatch photo above shows this foundation in FAIR.

This is a good everyday foundation for someone who wants LIGHT coverage. Is says buildable but I think to get a med or full coverage u would have to build so much it would waste product when u could just get a higher coverage foundation. It feels nice on the skin and I think it would be good for eveyone from dry to oily cause it’s like a gel mousse . Feels hydrating without being greasy
