I bought these after a friend told me about them. I usually use makeup wipes, then wash with a cleanser, but I was looking for a more eco-friendly way to do all that. I’m pretty happy with this product. I normally just wear some powder foundation, brow pencil and blush, so I don’t have a lot to remove. If I was wearing a full face of heavy duty liquid foundation I would use an oil cleanser first.
For light everyday makeup, this works really well. I bought the black Face Halo Pro pads so I don’t see how gross it gets, but I can see visually that it takes off almost everything with just warm water. I follow up with a gentle soap-free cleanser to remove any traces. I wash the puff after each use with some Dr.Bronners soap, and it is good as new the next day.
The puff is quite soft and doesn’t irritate my skin. I do wish it maneuvered around the eyes better, but it’s fine most of the time.
I’m very happy with the performance so far, and the fact that I’m not contributing a lot of waste to our environment, and it’s gentle on my skin.

These are okay. At first it just seemed to smudge my makeup around my face but if you keep rubbing it does eventually get most of it off. I did however go back in with a cotton round and micellar water when I thought my face was clean and the cotton pad still showed a bit of foundation. I’ll probably use these to remove majority of my makeup and then follow up with a cleanser after to ensure my face is totally clean.

removes make up and refines pores. It doesn’t replace the disposable wipes in my opinion. I use disposable first, then the Face Halo to reduce the amount of make up on the sponge. It looks pretty gross after one use, very dirty looking. then I follow up with my cleanser. I learned later that it comes in black too. That might be a better choice if you are grossed out like I am by putting dirty things on your face.
Also, not a good option for travel. It stays wet for a long time. Disposable wipes are best for travel.
