I like this a lot mainly because there is very little scent to it and sometimes I want my hair to just look less greasy but don’t need to cover up any odors. It also doesn’t make my scalp itch. I take a lippie off because of the dispenser, which I find tricky to use. If I do what it says to do (shake, then squeeze 10” away) it lets out a huge poof of powder that gets everywhere. Then the next squeeze does nothing so I have to close the top, shake, open, and poof again. So more often than not I am getting way more than necessary. Fortunately my hair is blonde so any powder residue blends.

I was overjoyed to discover that there was a non aerosol version. Application is pretty simple, turn the cap and tilt the container whilst squeezing it about an inch from hair.
Not only does it give hair an extra day or two before the next wash, it provides some volume and grip to styles.
What’s not to like? Not much apart from the inclusion of aluminium in it. I wish they would remove this entirely then I would buy it more readily!

I may be using this wrong, or maybe too much…it seems to get everywhere. I get more control with Batiste. It‘s a lot cheaper, too.

Hands down thebest dry shampoo when it comes to makes your hair look as fresh as possible. Other dry shampoos did absolutely nothing for me. This will soak up 3 days (I am a super oily scalp) worth of oil. The only thing that sucks about this product is that the white cast it leaves is absolutely terrible. It’s very intense and you have to REALLY brush it out of your hair, but I deal with it if that means I don’t have to wash my hair as often.

I purchased this after going to Ulta and finding out they stopped stocking my favorite BlowPro Faux Dry in the stores. The sales associate recommended this one to me as a substitute. It does not work as well as Faux Dry. My hair is fine and oily and Faux Dry was actually the first dry shampoo I could actually get to work for me. This one disappointed me. First of all the smell is strong and awful. Very grandma-y, floral-y, not wholly surprising for a French product. The smell lingers as well. I found it both harder to blend and not as well at absorbing oil as Faux Dry. I stopped using it less than 1/4 of the way through it, mostly due to smell but as frustration with performance of the product.

This is one of my top 2 dry shampoos, and I’ve tried quite ALOT of dry shampoos. Non aerosol is great, and the product leaves your hair clean feeling and gives a bit of volume boost as well. Put this in the night before and your hair will be clean with a bit of the perfect ‘french bedhead’ look. A staple for me. Probably the real winner is the packaging! Klorane really won with this design, you puff the bottle manually and puffs of shampoo come out! It’s really a good idea, so much less product is wasted as opposed to a regular ole squeeze bottle. It’s a bit pricy in my opinion at 15-20$, but you will get MANY more uses out of this bottle than the aerosol. Many people don’t realize that you’re paying for the aerosol filler stuff as well in those cans, so this net weight is actually pure product for non aerosol. Your mileage may vary of course, but I’ve been using the same bottle for about 6 months and I still have about half left.

This was my go to dry shampoo for ages, not because it was HG or anything like that, but because it was the best I could find out there at the time. I used to live in the UK, now Singapore, and we don’t have many options in terms of non-aerosol dry shampoos. I found this in a drugstore in Paris, and then paid an obscene amount in postage from eBay for another 2 bottles because they’re so impossible to find outside of France. First off, I don’t like using aerosol sprays because although I do like them in general and they’re so convenient, I do find them drying, and most importantly, not environmentally friendly or wallet friendly because I go through them like water. Therefore, I prefer the powder versions.
This was my favourite for a long time, because it was easy to use and lasted for ages. This one bottle lasted me for about 9 months. I have dark hair, and it disappears pretty easily into my hair with some rubbing. Great for my oily scalp, and I can use it for 2 days straight before it becomes too thick on my scalp.
The packaging is great for the most part, the powder comes out fine and easy to distribute. However, it is hard to use on the back of the scalp.
I’ve also tried other non-aerosol dry shampoos (Bumble and Bumble and Lush), and this definitely wins. However, I have recently discovered a local vegan beauty brand, Handmade Heroes, and their dry shampoo takes the cake. It’s amazing. So thank you Klorane, I’ve loved you but it’s time to move on. I highly recommend them, and they’re available in Singapore and on Amazon!

Busy, busy, busy, and just who isn’t busy these days? Still there’s so much to be done and so many places to go that we don’t want to miss anything, and why should we when Klorane’s Dry Shampoo can immediately turn limp hair that needs a lift or shampooing into a clean, soft, full of volume coiffure? Lacking a personal hair dresser always on call Klorane Dry Shampoo is my best friend!
It works a minor miracle with Oat Milk that soothes and comforts my scalp and corn and rice starch for super cleansing. A travel size is in my car always at the ready as well as the 3.2 oz. size at home.
So very easy to use -just shake well and spray about 10 inches from hair. Leave on for about two minutes and then brush through until powder is removed. Presto! Clean hair with a very pleasing light scent and a happy me!
I find mine at Klorane.com as I’m very much into online ordering. It’s also available at various Sephora stores and Sephora.com.
Next time I’ll tell you about when three of us were at the office and received a last minute dinner invitation – we raced to the powder room and shared Klorane Dry Shampoo!

My new favorite dry shampoo. I was used Drybar’s dry shampoo for a long time but switched to this because I’m not a huge fan of heavy fragrance and Drybar’s Detox smelled overpowering, like dryer sheets. And, although Detox worked well, it left white spots on my dark brown hair that were often difficult to comb out. Klorane has been a great replacement for me. It works well, isn’t overpowering, and doesn’t leave my hair looking powdery. It doesn’t absorb oil quite as well as Detox so I’ll try the nettle version next and see how it goes.
