The reason I prefer this now above my pricier ones is because it never causes bumps on my scalp. Just to combat any harshness I use oils like wheatgerm +castor (better thsn the camellia combo i used before) prior. The one thing I hate is it comes out in big glops so a lot goes to waste. I end up resigning myself to using the excess as a body wash.
No irritation to my sensitive skin therefore an HG (though dandruff is not an issue I have to deal with, sensitive skin is)

Compared the similar product sold in my country Japan, it is so much stronger and has a quick effect.
I always purchase this when I go outside Japan.

an old stand by that calms and soothes my scalp itchiness. it leaves my hair very soft but so clean at the same time. I have bleached hair so I only use this twice a week and a verb shampoo the rest of the week. it never turns my hair green, brassy or has given me a weird tone.

Head and Shoulders is a great shampoo whether you have dandruff or not. I do not have dandruff, so I can’t comment on it’s ability to control dandruff, but I use it simply because it’s a great shampoo.
A little goes a long way and it leaves my hair shiny and soft.
Major downside is the strong smell, even emphasized by the bottles “scent technology” claim. I wish they would make a scent-free version.
Packaging is good, i like the flat top so I can set it upside down when it’s getting low. \
The brand itself is not too exciting and the marketing doesn’t get me excited, but at the end of the day, I just want clean, soft shiny hair.

I wash my hair every 2-3 days and am somewhat prone to dandruff, so I use this shampoo every wash to keep my scalp flake-free. It works well for that purpose. I lather, leave in for a couple of minutes, and rinse out. It’s not stripping but it’s not moisturizing either.

This doesn’t really work on dandruff. It cleanses my oily hair and scalp really good, without stripping too much moisture. I stopped using it because i grew tired of the smell and it did nothing on my dandruff. It’s really cheap though!

I can’t believe how this shampoo makes my hair awful. I have been using this for 1 month and now my hair really waxy and has oily residue. And my hair full of build up. I went my hair dresser and he couldn’t believe how my hair has horrible condition. He cleaned my hair with l’oreal clarifying shampoo, now my hair feels a little bit better. Sorry for my bad english and don’t buy this shampoo please

No no no! I used sample sized versions of this to wash my 4c hair and it caused my hair to clump up, go hard and I could literally hear my hair breaking off. I quickly washed it out an followed on with the conditioner, which ultimately made my hair clump up even more AND leave this oily film all over my hair, even though my hair was previously dry. Then my scalp started to itch like crazy. I quickly got some Dr Bronners soap and washed it all out. I will NEVER use this product again.

A good clarifying shampoo in my opinion. My scalp feels squeaky clean after I use this. My Schwarzkopf extra care shampoo doesn’t rinse as clean as this for sure. But it’s more moisturizing (I dunno if this will build up but if it does, I will use the Pantene shampoo again to clear it up). The fragrance is nice and fresh although it doesn’t linger.

This was way too harsh for my scalp and it irritated it a lot.

Before I switched to vegan products, I tried several varieties of Pantene shampoo and Pantene is the absolute only shampoo that ever improved the condition of my hair– even with just one washing– even the plain Pantene shampoo without conditioner– something no other brand even with conditioner has ever done, no matter how many times I used it. It was remarkable what a difference it made! There was one type of Pantene shampoo that had a very very strong perfume-y fragrance I did not like and gave me a headache.

I hadn’t used pantene in years, because of the bad reviews it had. Hair falling out, etc. I discovered this and I was immediately in love. The smell is AMAZING! The consistency is soft and creamy, lathers awesomely. It makes my hair soft and smell soo good! Only con is that it builds up a little, but that’s ok.

I’ve repurchased several versions of Pantene because so far, I haven’t found a shampoo which performs so consistently.
I used to bolt from creamy shampoos but now I find they work wonders. Well, not so often Suave. But definitely Pantene.
Lather: great. Fragrance: yum. Price: fair for the amount.
I don’t use 2-in-ones but I still don’t need a rinse conditioner. Just their leave-in.
My hair is clean and full, I don’t break out, my skin is soft, and my bathroom smells like Bath And Body.

This seems to help people with dandruff. However, I don’t have dandruff, I have seborrheic dermatitis, and this not only doesn’t help me, it encourages my scalp to flake. So far, Nizoral seems to be the only product that actually helps this condition, at least in my experience.

My hair is ridiculously greasy and I don’t think it helps that my hairs thick because it seems to cause more build up. I love think shampoo in terms of getting rid of my dandruff however it makes my scalp literally squeaky clean to the point where it’s dry and becones itchy

I had a huge 40 ounce pump bottle of this thanks to my ex, so I decided to be cheap and use it. Mistake. The formula of this shampoo changed a few years ago in my opinion. It now builds up on my hair and scalp, leaving it coated with what feels like soap scum. I had horrible hair when I used this regularly, so I wouldn’t recommend it. Given that it builds up, I don’t even see how it would work for people with dandruff. It didn’t make my hair fall out, which saves it from a one lipstick rating.
