Be prepared to be overwhelmed by the fragrance. I purchased the Sparkling Citrus scented version and it is WAY STRONG. I suppose that is to be expected as it’s a deodorant and all my life I’ve only used an antiperspirant. The first week I used this everything was ok. I felt less dry than using conventional antiperspirants but at least I wasn’t smelly. But then I started to develop a mild rash on the back outer edge of my pits. It wasn’t itchy, just sort of unsightly until I shaved my underarms. OMG… this stuff down right burns. Okay, probably my fault because there is such a high level of fragrance in it but I had never felt this after applying a regular type deodorant/antiperspirant so it didn’t occur to me that this time would be any different. Was I ever wrong! I had to resort to using only J&J Baby Powder – the cornstarch version – which kept me both dry and stink-free. I am still trying to use this, but am not using it daily because I just don’t trust the amount of fragrance in this on my skin. Would I repurchase? No, I don’t think so.

I had a horrible reaction to this after using for 2 days….peeling, severe itching, and darkness. I’m not sure what caused the reaction. Now my underarms look burned. 🙁 I really wanted this to work for me. It did keep me dry and fresh, but it is something my body didn’t agree with.

Developed a horrible allergy underarms after using the product. Those with sensitive skin beware!!!

I use this bc it’s alluminum free. I still smell after a few hours but it’s fine. I just reapply . I’ve contacted the company and it is phtalate free which I like. this is most likely the best I going to find so..

I’ve always used Deodorants and this is my HG deodorant! It smells so good and does a good job. I love the Sweet Bliss scent and I love that I can find this anywhere, at Walmart, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond. I hope they keep making this forever, as I am never switching to anything else. The price is awesome and it’s such a great deodorant. Love it!

I just love this product. I began using aluminum free deodorants because: 1. Apparently they cause breast cancer and most importantly 2. They clog my armpit skin, to the point that I develop huge painful bumps. So I first tried this in the Powder scent. Smells good, but when you are getting near half of the product, the smell just, disappears. Now I have the Sweet Bliss scent and I LOVE it!! Since I don’t sweat that much in my armpits, I don’t have a problem with using deodorant only. The scent lasts all day, doesn’t clog my armpit skin and it’s like 2.50. I will keep buying this until I have the money to buy more natural alternatives. By the way, I hate the “all natural deodorants” that use rock salt minerals in them. It just takes way too much time to dry. Not my style. Anyway, as I said, I will buy this again! 🙂

HG HG HG!! For years and years, I have used Crystal Roll-on deo to completely stop BO in its tracks and I LOVE LOVE it and along w/ their Body Spray, they are my one and only HG deodorants that NEVER NEVER fail.
So why am I giving this product the same rating? Because I finally have another option that works just as well and its a solid which meets the TSA requirements to NOT have to go in the 1 baggie allowed for liquids because this is a solid! 🙂
Performance wise – I have used for 1 month and it provides me the same level of protection as Crystal. It works great under arms, under breasts (like lots of large breasted women, I sweat there too – sorry if TMI) and I have had NO odor breakthrough and NO skin irritation, lasts from 5:45 am until after I’m in bed at 10:30 pm (and after that I don’t care as I’m sleeping 🙂
So – now I have 2 aluminum-free deo options and I couldn’t be happier! The ONLY drawback is I have yet to see this in any stores where I live (Twin Cities) – thank god for Amazon 🙂

Love this! Ive been looking for an alternative that actually works. Ive been using arm and hammer, it smells too manly of course since its for men. This says baby powder scented but smells way better. I hate baby powder scented products so I was happy it smells like flowers instead. Granted its not as safe as some of the products you can get at the health store’s since it has tricarbon and a few other chemicals, but it is better than putting aluminum on every day. Love this and will continue to use for as long as they make it!
Just wanted to update, I found a product with better ingredients than this one. So I haven’t repurchased even though it worked well. I’m using Earth Science Rosemary Mint which is a little harder to find.

Love love love. My favorite deo of all time is the Soft and Dri regular aerosol, but it’s hard to find around here so I’ve been using Dove and the Crystal Essence scented roll-ons (which I also really like). When I saw the aerosol of this one I had to try it — fantastic stuff, doesn’t stain whites, and lasts all day. Plus, it smells good and even then the fragrance doesn’t compete with other scents and kind of fades throughout the day.

I’m using the aerosol version and love it. Deodorants do not work for me. My natural BO and the fake fragrance makes me smell horrible! Since I was a kid I had this issue. My best bet was to go deodorant-less and just wash my arm pits secretly if they got stinky. Then I started using natural salt products. They worked but dried my skin out so much it would become irritated and inflamed. Sooo I had a coupon for the aerosol version and thought, ” what the heck, I’ll give it a try since I’ve never used an aerosol deodorant.” Well it works :). I am surprised and it’s been a good three months with just one can.
