   I bought this in the scent Rainforest. I’m a girl but I love the smell. This stuff is pretty awesome deodorant, does a great job of leaving me smelling fresh for a long period of time, though there is an adjustment period of about two weeks where you’ll have to use it a bit more often.

   The best part about this though is how healthy it makes your skin. Since using this I’ve watched scars from ingrown hairs- and even current ingrowns- on my underarms disappear. My underarms look smooth and perfect now! 🙂

   The Island scent is also so good it almost makes me want to EAT IT. It’s definitely the most feminine of the scents but I’ll stick with Rainforest for now 🙂

   Got this in the ocean scent which is Aquatic and slightly masculine. Its actually a bit to masculine for me at times so I rotate this with my herban cowboy for her. I definitely think this would be good for a guy and I may even encourage my bf to wear. It glides on smooth and clear isnt sticky. Good for sensitive skin. I reapply probably once throughout the day in the summer but one thing I notice is that it works best on clean armpits straight out of the shower. I got it on sale for 3.99 at my local co-op which I thought was a great price. Will definitely buy again but maybe in a different scent.

   First of all this smells amazing (I bought ‘island isle). But that was the only positive thing about it.. it didnt work at all, within a couple of hours I’d start to stink. it also felt really wet and sticky which i cant stand (rash city) even if it did work, that’d be a deal breaker

   I stopped wearing antiperspirant around 9 months ago. I was using the crystal which was fine for a sedentary office job, but now that the summer is here I’ve been cycling and doing manual labour and I stink from just using the crystal.

   I have tried other natural deodorants such as green beaver, dr. mist, and desert essence. I still smell funky using them. I found geodeo at Loblaws for 5 dollars which is what I had been paying for the natural deodorants. The one I found was Island scent. Yesterday I had an intense bike ride before work (my work involves a lot of arm lifting so I can really tell if I stink). I did not smell bad at all, all I could smell was the faint Island scent of geodeo.

   What I like about this product besides the fact that it’s an effective aluminum free deodorant is that unlike the crystal it uses the standard deodorant packaging which is easy to apply and portable. It is also not tested on animals and smells pretty good. It actually feels kind of like the crystal (mineral rock kind of texture) but you can apply it dry.

   So far this product seems to be very effective.

   I’ve been meaning to give this a rave review since I found this product!

   People, this is a fantastic product. If you want beautiful pits, zero body oder, plus invisible coverage with natural ingredients, then this is your product! It certainly is mine. Since I found this product I’ve never gone back to using a gross antiperspirant.

   For a while I had settled on Nivea Invisible for Black & White, a standard chemical-laden antiperspirant. As I’m moving through my “change of life” (yeah right, when are you NOT moving through a change of life!?), I started overheating (Flame On!) several times a day and now I perspire pretty heavily when that happens. The Nivea stopped being able to control that awful body order smell. I was ruining clothes, no matter what drug store deodorant that I tried to layer on over the a/p – even with all these products on, by mid-day I stunk. I even began to bring deodorants and antiperspirants and sprays with me everywhere so I could control the smell throughout the day – it wasn’t working and was embarrassing to feel that your body oder was out of control.

   I made my own deodorant with coconut oil and baking soda and it worked immediately to kill the smell but I made it too strong and I ended up with perfect oval shaped rashes under my arms – lol! Plus it was whitish, gritty and messy so I put that aside.

   Then I went looking for the most effective smell killing product I could find on the shelves. Yes, they have these crazy chemical preparations that totally mess with the natural functions of your body for a whole lot of money – no thanks.

   So I grabbed a few natural products from the rows of deodorants at Shopper’s – one was a product called Dr. Mist Lavender Mist (a cooling spray with natural lavender smell, which I prefer to use after a bath). And the other was a solid stick called GEODEO Detox Complex in Ocean. After one use of the GEODEO I’ve never looked back.

   I went out to buy more and they were no longer at Shopper’s but I found them at London Drugs and bought a few more. I really hope they never stop making and carrying this product!

   Truly invisible, completely benign, completely effective. I don’t stink anymore and my clothes are saved!!! I’ve noticed that I don’t get yellow marks so much on my white clothes anymore. Today I was telling a co-worker how BEAUTIFUL my armpits look! My pits have NEVER looked good – are you kidding? Now they look smooth and calm and clean and no more discolouration that’s always been there – just healthy skin now. WOW. I stood in front of the mirror last night marvelling at this delightful discovery.

   I can’t recall what I paid, so it must have been reasonable and in line with any other regular pit care. About $5.
