This is a decent natural deodorant. It doesn’t have amazing lasting power – I find on a hot day where I’m doing a lot I need to reapply in about 6 hours. For a natural deodorant without a lot of chemicals, this is quite good. I am usually sensitive to deodorants with baking soda and break out in a rash; however, this is not irritating at all, even when applying soon after shaving.
It doesn’t quite compare to my favorite natural deodorant by Lavanila (the lavender vanilla one) as I find that one has better lasting power and also controls sweat. This is still a great option and for the price I think it is hard to surpass.

If you are into natural deodarants and like the consistency of toms of maine but get rashes from it then this is probably a better alternative. I find that it keeps my funk at bay better than most deodarants and doesn’t cause rashes like most of them have. It is also super cheap and under $2 bucks at most drugstores which is great considering how expensive and hard to find natural deodarants are if you dont like to buy them online. The cons are that the “fresh” scent is very manly. It’s supposed to be a “Unisex fragrance” but believe me, it is very masculine..luckily the scent isn’t overpowering when you put it on so you don’t have to worry too much about that. Another con is the packaging i find it way too bulky and wide. You get about the same amount as most deodarants So idk why they went this route, its especially annoying when you have limited space in your cabinet -_- but oh well… bottom line, if you aren’t persnickety about scents and fragrances and want a cheap but effective natural deodarant that works and won’t leave you rashed up then this is a good option to try

I’ve purchased this countless times. I have tried many natural deodorants and this is the only one that works. I wish it were available in more scents (this one is kind of “manly”), but it’s not too overwhelming. It doesn’t last as long as conventional deodorants. I’ll reapply it once throughout the day, but it’s worth the extra effort. I feel safer knowing that it doesn’t contain harmful ingredients. It’s also really cheap, so that’s a huge plus with me!

I’ve been wanting to try this for ages but didn’t because it contained triclosan. Recently I took a look at the label and saw the triclosan was gone and bought it. I SHOULD have checked some of the ingredients I was uncertain of before buying it. THE TRICLOSAN HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH OCTENIDINE HCL. And if you do some reading you’ll find it’s mentioned along with Triclosan. Octenidine HCL is used in the medical field to sterilize either skin or utensils before surgery. It’s also considered an antibiotic. Will they tell us later on down the road that this stuff causes bad effects on the body after it’s been in this product for however many years? The thought creeps me out. I will say though that this deodorant DOES WORK and it’s kept me BO free for three days (though I can say my sweat smells odd, not bad, but odd.). I was hoping after reading the label that it would smell as good as it sounds. Some of the ingredients listed are: coriander oil, rosemary oil and lavender oil. These three oils sounded great but are sadly drowned out by the artificial fragrance that’s included. The scent of this is like a man’s sport deodorant and is quite strong the first few hours. Thankfully the sport scent wears off and it smells a bit herbal/floral which IMO smells unisex. I will be using this up but after that I’ll be on the hunt again. I think that the Arm & Hammer advertising on the packaging is misleading as it sounds like it’s the baking soda that’s helping with stopping underarm odor but it’s really the Octenidine HCL, again, something used to kill germs in the medical field.

Living in the hot and humid country of Singapore, I can assure you to not get this if you sweat a lot.
1. It is not anti-perspirant
Even so, you still expect not to smell right? After applying it you’ll feel fresh, but the moment you sweat the deodorant runs off. And it gives out a pretty strange odour. Sometimes I’m not even sweating and the deodorant runs off by itself (not completely) within 30 minutes.
2. If you are someone who doesn’t sweat that much but just to be cautious, I think this might be suitable. No bad chemical ingredients in this product, only baking soda, essential oils and the basic product ingredients.
Also again on my personal experience, I was pleased that I didn’t smell after wearing for 6-7 hours HOWEVER I was in an air-conditioned area and the moment I stepped out for 20 minutes, it melt and my white crop top had BLACK stains(?) on the armholes. Currently still in the washing machine so I’m not sure if it is washable.
So sweaty people, stay away.

This is my HG. Why did I not discover this product sooner. I have to note I have the new formulation which they omit triclosan. I used to use Degree Silver Ion, which was wonderful. They discontinued it, so I tried Dove, which has the same Silver Chloride in it. Dove caused redness and a lot of irritation, so I had to discontinue it 2 days after starting it. I have an allergic reaction to the active Aluminum found in antiperspirants so I can’t use any of them. I tried this one and it really works. It doesn’t just mask the odor, but neutralizes it and has a very pleasant fragrance to it. I really enjoy it. My under arms never felt better and are irritation free. I am so happy I found it and will continue to use it from now on. It’s also dirt cheap, so it’s very wallet friendly. Too bad I didn’t know about this product sooner. Would have saved me a lot of grief.

A good choice. This one is in my top five for sure. Very effective and priced well. I recommend it. If you are used to using antiperspirant you sill have an adjustment period no matter what brand you choose (if you are making a change) but stick with it. It’s worth it for your health.

I wanted to make the switch from regular antiperspirant/deodorant to aluminum free deodorant so I picked this up in both Fresh and Unscented. First off, it’s misleading that the “unscented” version actually has quite a strong citrus scent. It doesn’t linger, but the scent is quite strong when you’re applying it. They both go on somewhat slimy and sticky and take a little while to dry. I didn’t stink at all while using this but I can’t really vouch for the effectiveness of the product since I’ve never had BO in my life. The first few days I used it, there were no problems (I think because it was cold and I did not really sweat). However, on a day that I was more active and did sweat a little, my armpits became very itchy and red in some areas. I’ve always had sensitive armpits that are prone to itchiness and redness, and it took me years to find a regular antiperspirant/deodorant that didn’t irritate (Dove Unscented). So I guess I’m still on the hunt for the perfect aluminum free deodorant. I gave these to my husband so they wouldn’t go to waste. I’m going to try Soft & Dri aluminum-free deodorant next.

I have been using the Arm & Hammer Ultra Max with great success, but I wanted something more natural so I bought this for $1 at Kroger. I hate this stuff! It’s slimy, it takes forever to dry, and I stink like I never put anything on about an hour after applying it. I hate to waste it, but I really can’t use it so I think I might just toss it and keep using the Ultra Max for now.

contains triclosan….. not natural.
