Smells lovely and does work to reduce odour better than any other deodorant that I’ve tried to date. However, unfortunately, it irritates my underarms. It makes them itchy and the product seems to seep deep into the glands and forms a matte-link film that doesn’t easily wash off. Unfortunately I may need to stick to the more simple and traditional products.

I have the soothing chamomile and I must say I really like it. I like in Arizona where it’s freaking hot triple digits in the summer . My problem was sweating so much and I felt that the solid regular dove bar deodorants made me sweat even more because of the way the solid bar is ;kinda oily paste . Well I was skeptical at first because solid white bars didn’t seem to work on me and I did try a few of the regular but didn’t work . So this is really good because it kept me from sweating I must say it didn’t completely kept me from sweating but i did notice a huge in difference in the amount of perspiration . I want to use it for a period of time just because the aluminum is high. On winter I would use something else .

I’ve brought this in the original clean scent and had used it on and off for 3 weeks and realised I’m allergic to it. Started to developed rashes and itchiness after a week, at first I wasn’t sure if it was the deodorant. I now had stopped using it for at least 2 weeks and my skin had gone back to normal.
I’ve used other Dove deodorants previously and never had this problem.

I have to say I was shocked to see negative reviews of this product, and I wonder if the formula might be different from country to country. I’m in Australia, and I first purchased this 8 years ago. It was a new product in my local supermarket, and given my propensity for underarm sweating, I jumped at the chance to try it, even though it was 4 times the price of any AP I’d previously bought. I tried it that night, and the next day I didn’t have to reapply AP like I’d previously had to! I was sold! This completely stops ALL perspiration, and therefore all the associated smell! I have used it almost every day since then. Even the times when I haven’t used it, the product is still doing its job, so I truly do get the 48 hours coverage! Actually, there have been a few times that I didn’t, but that was when I’d run on really hot days.
One of my favourite things about the “Shower Fresh” & “Green Tea & Cucumber” versions, is that they are both very low scent, so they do not interfere with any perfume that I choose to wear!
I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is a heavy sweater, and is considering the prescription path for an AP.
Oh, and it’s great for the ladies who have larger breasts! You all know what I mean!!

I love my Dove deodorant in winter….I don’t get underarm wetness and it works fine, but come summer I get underarm wetness, which often ruins shirts and is kind of embarrassing. I bought this deodorant for $8. It went on smooth, smells great, feels good. However, within an hour I already had wet underarms. It was an 80 degree morning…. I was sitting down in the nice cool breeze under shade and got the wetness under my arm within an HOUR of putting it on.
I can’t tell a difference between their regular lower priced regular deodorant and this one. why pay all the extra money just because it says clinical strength?

Dove Clinical deodorant does not hold up to heavy sweating. I would not buy this again.

I am a eighteen year old female, who embarrassingly sweats like a man. Before this product I was always running to the bathroom to take care of said sweat and apply deodorant. This product saved my dignity! I only have to apply once and not have to worry about sweating through my shirt or anything like that. Its not as cheap as most deodorant, but the pricing is still well and COMPLETELY worth it.

WOOOW!! Thats all i could say, is working great i always sweat my shirts get really soak and wet thats how bad it is i try so many things nothing worked on me, im so impressed by this Suave Deodorant it,s been working excellent on me.. i Recomend it to any one who suffers from sweaty and stinky armpits.. i Give it a 10 LOVE IIIT!!!..

I love this stuff! I have tried other clinical protection antiperspirants that were double the price and did nothing for me. I am so glad I tried this. I am a fairly sweaty person who can develop B.O. easily; Secret has never worked for me. I used to be a loyal Dove user until I had some problems with that as well. This stuff goes on wet, and will take a little while to dry but once it does you are COMPLETELY dry and will smell nice all day! I have sensitive underarms and this does not irritate them/dry them out. I got it in the scent “everlasting sunshine” and it smells sooo good and sweet, almost like a perfume. The scent is very strong, so if you have a problem with that I would stay away. I would recommend this to anyone who has had other deodorants fail them in the past!

I have the powder scent. It actually smells like baby powder, not someone’s weird, overly sweet or bitter interpretation. In general, I have to say I’m impressed. Two swipes under each arm, and I’m sweat and odor free. It doesn’t last 24 hours though, if that’s what you’re looking for.

FAIL.
Bought this to try because it was the cheapest version of the clinical-strength deos This kept me mostly dry but I stank! I don’t usually have an odor problem with regular deodorant, so I don’t know what the problem was!
I’m too frugal (cheap) to throw this out, so I’ve been using this during the winter when I’m not worried about stanking up the place. Nope, would not buy again…
worldlyBagels8
Nope.
I bought this because it was about $2.50 cheaper than the Dove Clinical (which I love) and Secret Clinical and had the same % of active ingredient (sorry Alzheimer’s prevention – lots of Aluminun Salts in here).
Meanwhile it does seem to work but I don’t like the scent (bright/happy/sunny – can’t remember the name).
Back to Dove Clinical for me.

Best deodorant ever!!!! As an antiperspirant for me it kind of works, I still sweat but it works wonders as a deodorant, yesterday I put it on around noon and today I went running for an hour and I didn’t smell at all, and that was without reapplying. Overall great deodorant is the only one that has worked for me and I’ve been through a lot of deodorants, don’t think because of its price it won’t work, I’m amazed at how good it is even after shaving it doesn’t sting, I already recommended this beauty to my sister. Btw this is my first review .

PROS: WOrks well, especially if used as my application tips below describe.
CONS: The price is a little steep, so I’m going to try the Suave version of this.
APPLICATION TIPS: I apply this at night on clean and very dry armpits. Then when I shower in the morning, I use a bodywash that removes all traces of this (the chemical has already done its work during the night). THis actually prevents sweating better for me. I sometimes also use a natural deodorant after showering like the one by Kiss my Face or some name like that. (on dry armpits).
ALTERNATES: Secret has a version of this that is a lot more expensive. But Secret has an unscented version, where I don’t think Suave does. Certain-Dri blows this out of the water, as far as effectiveness.

I really disliked this deodorant. I have all but given up trying to find a deodorant to help with excessive sweating under my arms, but I do expect them to at least help with odors. I got it in the scent “Shower Clean” and it left me smelling anything but. I guess it just didn’t work my body chemistry? I didn’t really smell /bad/, but I smelled strange, and it was very noticeable to me about halfway through my day. I have honestly never experienced anything like that with a deodorant before, and I rarely ever buy the same one twice. This was also very chalky, it actually ruined two of my dresses somehow. Maybe it was the type of fabric, but this transferred from my pits, and somehow got baked into the underarm area. Even after washing, they have weird chalky white patches in the underarm area, something else that has never happened to me before. I am not sure if this is a negative, as I was pretty happy to be done with it, but I seemed to run out of it pretty quickly too. Would not recommend.

Did very well at covering up smells. Didn’t do so well with sweat. Application is messy.

My favorite deodorant. Effective and long lasting

The packaging on the one I have doesn’t look anything like the picture above. Mine is called 24H motionSENSE – Motion Activated Freshness in the scent Fresh Energy. I do not love the scent — smells like old-school baby powder which completely clashes with my fragrance — but that’s the only thing I don’t like about this stuff. I have used Secret Clinical Protection for the past three years and I always thought that was the strongest deodorant around but I was wrong — this stuff wears like iron! I was on a trip and couldn’t shower for three days in 90-degree heat. This stuff is so bulletproof that there was never any dampness, no trace of any stink, and that was after I had only applied it once on the first day! It’s amazing and blows Secret Clinical Protection out of the water. Highly recommend, especially in a scent other than Fresh Energy.
gloomyPup2
This is the only deoderant that works for me. It smells great and lasts all day.
zestyEland4
I live Dove & Secret Clinical products better but this is OK. I think I shall stick with Dove.

– shows up white against my dark skin
– does not protect all day

I have tried a number of different deodorants. AIl of them have work temporarily. I use Certain Dri for a year or two but I needed something for the day and it was a little harsh to my underarms. I discovered dove clinical protection and was pleasantly surprised that its cream texture was gentle on my skin. It also prevented me from sweating which I’ve suffered from. Its available in wonderful setting such as the cucumber and the pomegranate. It’s pricey in the range of 8 to 10 dollars. And it runs out fast because it is to twist up but I will continue to purchase this because the pros out weight the cons. Would recommend to anyone.

This anti-perspirant is great. The smell is great and it last all day, however for the cost, the bottle did not last long at all. Maybe a week or two? I don’t know but it was empty really fast. I’m not sure it’s worth the price.

I’m one of those girls who NO MATTER what deodorant I use, i cant stop sweating!
So i saw this one on a tv ad, and decided to try it!
I tried the Green tea / cucumber!
I was so impressed with the results!
It is now a daily essential for me to use!
The only deodorant that maintains 100% dryness throughout the day for me!
*Smells really nice
*super duper easy to apply
I can go a whole day at a netball competition, without even gaining a sweat!
So glad i tried this product! 10/10!!! 😀

This stuff is great. Love the new everlasting sunshine scent. It is cheaper than other “clinical protection” brands and works just as well. Wish it came in more scents.

Finally after searching and searching for an antiperspirant/deodorant I found one that works for me.
I use the wild cherry blossom scent, because it smells good to me and I do not like the baby powder smell it also comes in.
Some people have said this does not work. But you have to read the directions. “Before bed, apply two to three clicks of product to each underarm.” You cannot just wake up put this on and expect it to work. You have to put it on before you go to bed. You can reapply it in the morning, but you have to use it as directed.
After I go to work (vet tech) at the end of the day I am still dry which was not the case when I was in vet tech school and I was using something else.
This product works, I can find it at Wal-Mart for like $7, and smells great. I suggest anyone who needs more protection against sweating to try this.

I was using Dove and Degree clinical protection deos until I found this hiding on the bottom deodorant shelf at Walmart. It was only around $2, muchhh cheaper than Dove and Degree. I figured I’d give it a try. I used to sweat terribly, but I think it comes with puberty and I don’t sweat as bad now. Anyway, I still like being extra protected. I bought this in “Wild Cherry Blossom”, which is confusing because the deodorant shows pictures of cherries AND cherry blossoms. What? Anyway, the smell is really strange. When I first started using it, all I smelled were the flowers. Days into using it, I get an amazing cherry scent. Then, they melded together. Pretty weird. Besides the smell, it’s a very nice deo that does the job and prevents my pits from staining my shirts! Give it a try.

I’ve used this product for the last 3 years and it is my HG deodorant (haha)! My skin is so sensitive and is allergic to almost every deodorant I’ve ever tried (I developed an itchy rash), but this product does not do that to me. Also it keeps my pits sweat free and smelling fresh the entire day (I use the baby powder scent). It will stain clothes though until you wash them so watch out you will get the white lines on your black shirts if you aren’t careful. The only downside is it’s quite expensive for a drugstore deodorant. Other than that I love this deodorant with a passion.

I used this for a very long time. I suffer from excessive sweating, you can read my history in my review on “certain dri”.
The first time I purchased this it worked for about a week 100%. Used it as direct it, but as time went by it didn’t work anymore, only some of the time, I would try secret and it was worst, so I came back with degree cause it helped a little bit more.
I later t out that maybe it didn’t work as expected cause the active ingredient isn’t”aluminum chloride, but some other mix of those two elements.
It didn’t work for me but it did for my cousin who didn’t had as much sweating as I did. I even tried the day degree clinical along with this, but no results. You should try and see if it works. If ir doesnt don’t get stuck with it like me (spent over 200) in 4 years or so of purchasing this, and try certain dri.

This works, but it smells bad and stains worse than any other deodorant I’ve tried. The search continues.
