I find this only works if I’m able to reapply it several times a day. So this is now my around the house or bedtime deodorant. I don’t even have an issue with aluminum so I’m not even sure why I bought it. Probably because it was new, rosewater scented, and clear. It would be a very nice deodorant if it held up throughout the day…but it really doesn’t. I accidentally wore this out the other day, camping and spent the night away from home, and by the next morning I actually reeked, like I had no deodorant on at all. It’s been many years since I’ve smelled armpit sweat on myself, since regular deodorants work just fine for me, and are able to hold up for 24 hours at least, if I need them to.
But if you’re on the hunt for an aluminum free Deo and don’t mind reapplying every few hours, this one is probably just as good as any other, but it just doesn’t keep you protected all day

This does not work for me. The texture is nice and I like that it’s clear. But as deodorant it’s terrible. It wears off in a couple of hours. I have to reapply like 3 times a day to get by. I guess it’s good enough for some people but I’m going to be looking for something better

This is by far the best and only non aluminum deodorant that I Was actually able to completely finish up without getting any terrible rashes or irritation at all. I found that it also kept me fresher for a longer portion of the day and only needed to apply twice on hotter days. most other non aluminum deodorants are a gamble as they have all given me rashes or left me feeling not so fresh throughout the day and not really keeping the funk at bay despite following rules of washing with antibacterial soap prior to applying and such. Despite being a regular deodorant (non antiperspirant) I found it still helped keep sweat at bay more so than other natural deodorants? Maybe because it isn’t a more natural type of non aluminum deodorant I’m sure there are some nasties in the formulation that would explain why that I’m yet to be aware of since the ingredients are not as “all natural” as most of the non aluminum counterparts on the market… but honestly if you’re primary concern is the aluminum and you just want a deodorant that won’t irritate your skin and still be pretty reliable at keeping funk at bay then this is a pretty good option and it isn’t as expensive as most other popular natural deodorants (ahem… native) and it lasts a pretty long time as well Aaaaaand doesn’t leave any residue!!! (Yay) As for the scent, I got the rosewater one and didn’t find it true to its name tbh it was more of just a plain but non irritating non chemical scent so I guess it’s a good thing for those sensitive to strong fragrances but that’s my only complaint as I like for my deodorants to smell good however It wasn’t a breaker either. Overall, I would recommend. Especially if the majority of natural and non aluminum sticks have just all irritated your skin give this a try. I was this close to feeling forced to have to quit on aluminum free deodorants until I stumbled upon this one

I love the concept, as I prefer deodorants that do not leave that residue under my arms/on my clothes. I don’t have anything against aluminum, but I just prefer non-aluminum based deodorants that don’t ruin my skin. I really enjoy the honeydew scent – it’s very authentic. This helped me last through an intense gym session! I’d definitely repurchase! I wish they would bring out the va va vanilla and cool waterlily scent in this aluminum-free version though.

I tried this deodorant on a whim and I’ve ended up loving it. Up until now I’ve used the Secret Gel deodorant for years, which would sometimes dry white, and it was difficult to remove when showering because it really sticks to the skin. I have the apricot scent from Equate, it does have a hint of dish-soapy-ness but I still like it. This leaves no white mark on my skin or clothes and I haven’t found myself sweating through it even after the gym. I haven’t tried the Toms of Maine Natural deodorant this is supposed to be comparable to, but I don’t think I need to now. I think that with this type of product individual body chemistry is important so ymmv.
