   Ah.. Many people seem to be disappointed about this one but not me!
   I was really excited to own it against so many negative reviews and decided to go for it.

   First, the packaging… very luxury jar and nice to have on your vanity. I’m deducting half a lippie here as I also want it to be travel-friendly.

   The shade ranges are .. horrible if you ask me. I was lucky enough to have found one that quite matched my skin tone, which is shade 1.0 (I’m about NC20-25, warm undertone). And like some few other foundations, it oxidizes. I gave it time to dry out to make sure it matches my skin tone.

   The texture is mousse-like, no strong scent , has some tiny shimmering particles which I don’t see it when I look into the jar by my naked eyes. But I can see it when I tried it on the back of my hand. I tried it either by wiping/blending or patting it. But I found I like the result of patting it in as it gave me very sheer luminous finish and I could feel molecules of water breaking and absorbed into my skin. Those shimmery particles still there if I really put my effort into seeing it.

   When I apply it to my face, I use my hands and fingers, starting with a small area, pat it in on the area that I want a sheerer coverage, wipe/blend on the area that needs more coverage. No primer needed. It blurs my pores, evens out my skin, very lightweight. Lumimous finish without any traces of foundation. (I still cannot define whether this one is a foundation or tinted moisturizer or somewhat…). I still need some concealer for my acne scars area anyway.

   It’s comfortable to wear, no heavy feeling, no oil controling as well. Lasts for 5-6 hours. No breakouts or allergies.
   And the price is affordable.

   All in all, it can do what it claims, so I’m satisfied with it in overall. I will repurchase it definitely !! (if there are nothing new that attracts me more :P)

   I had to have this, and Ulta didn’t have it in their shelves yet; I had to order it online and guess about the color. At that time, there were no reviews here, and the few I found online weren’t too positive. I love anything that’s a skin tint or serum type of foundation, so this was irresistible. It runs $38.00.

   First, these colors aren’t great. I wasn’t sure if I needed light/medium or medium for my NC40 olive skin. I went with light/medium, and it’s a bit darker and peachier than I would like. The product is sheer enough that it wasn’t a deal breaker.

   This product comes in a heavy, glass jar that you could confidently use as a weapon. There won’t be any traveling with this container. On the plus side, you get a ton of mousse-like product, and a little goes a long way.

   The product has glitter; I could see it on the back of my hand when I swatched it, but is seems to completely disappear after application.

   Here’s where things get challenging. I have very dry skin, and I usually use Clinique smart oil as my morning moisturizer, after serums. I dotted this all over and went after it with my beloved Eco Tools foundation brush. It was awful. Splotchy, smeary, sitting in pores. I kept at it, trying to work quickly, because this has an odd, dry texture, even over the oil. With aggressive buffing, it suddenly worked. It melded into the skin and disappeared, heaving a beautiful, truly skin-like finish. I was confused at first; had I buffed-it all off? No, the skin looked gorgeous, but it was work to get it there. The next day I used a cream based moisturizer and a beauty blender; the same thing happened; very bad then very good.

   Does it stick to dry patches? A bit, but not as much as Armani maestro.

   I’m not hung up on longevity. It’s makeup; it’s going to fade. I’m interested in something fading gracefully, and this does. It lasted through the day and running afterwards, not completely, but gracefully.

   No sunscreen.

   Would I repurchase? I can’t imagine running out of this! Firm maybe, but I tend to get bored with things. It’s not an HG like MAC Face and Body, but I like it.

   I was very excited to see Stila released two new products, new primers and foundation. The Stila Lingerie Souffle Skin Perfecting Primer is described as an illuminating primer, which I will say that it does not do much to illuminate the skin, instead it is more of a mattifying primer that does not illuminate skin at all. The Stila Skin Souffle Skin Perfecting Color is a very low coverage foundation that feels almost more like a moisturizer than a foundation.
   In the past Stila has made some of my favorite foundations- the Aqua Foundation was one I liked and found it suitable for drier skin. My only issue with that foundation was that I found it had more of an orange tint to it. I had the same problem with Shade 2.0 of the new Lingerie Souffle Skin Perfecting Color. Shade 2.0 should have been on the lighter end of the spectrum, but I found even with the light coverage that it gave my skin a noticeable orange tint that was not flattering.

   My other issue with the foundation is that it really did cling to dry patches and make them more noticeable. Although when used with the new Stila Primer the foundation did keep a matte finish after 12-15 hours of wear. Both products contain fragrance although I really only noticed it with the primer and it did fade pretty quickly.
   The packaging is beautiful but NOT travel friendly. It came in a beautiful glass bottle that looks nice on the vanity. Overall these were both pretty disappointing products, perhaps those with not sensitive, oily skin might have better success with this. For the price, and my nice history with Stila foundations I expected much better. My video review with swatches can be seen here: w
